  2. Good morning, The scheduled for grading status is a general status that encompasses multiple internal statuses that the customer doesn't see on their end. The invoice will go into that status once it starts grading and will remain in that status through grading and encapsulation and won't change until it is ready for the final quality control.   3. Good morning, Thanks for your message. Your order isn't stuck, it is just still in the grading room. There is no set amount of time that an order stays in any particular status. The turnaround times are going to vary depending on the tier you selected and how many books are ahead of yours in line. This was submitted under the old Value tier which is running about 162 business days. Your order will be here for at least a few weeks longer. Thanks!

  5. Hi, thanks for your message. On reholders you have to check the original certification number from the label and not the new reholder submission number. If you pull up that original number on the certification lookup you should see the grade info. Thanks!
  6. Good morning, Thanks for your message. No, we generally would not be able to grade these due to the overhang on the cover. Encapsulation of a book with overhang could potentially cause damage so we would not want to risk it. Thank you!
  7. Good morning, Thanks for your message. We could not advise you on this as we do not test out the holders in this way. Our holders are not vacuum sealed and are not water tight but they are meant for long term storage when stored in the proper conditions. Our recommendations for optimum storage for a slabbed CGC book would be about 50% humidity (not too wet or too dry) and about 70-73 degrees. The best thing is for maintenance of the temperature and the humidity without big spikes in either. Thank you!

  12. Good morning, I did double check with the graders on this and they do think it would still receive the pedigree label. It will say CVR on there, of course, but it would still be able to be listed as the pedigree. Thanks!
  13. Good morning, Thanks for your message. If the system recognizes the book you entered and a label is available, it will bring that option up. Sometimes, if a customer doesn't select a book from the drop down menu or it is a new book then the system may not recognize what you entered and it won't pull up the labels correctly. You can always notate your request on the packing slip. Just be sure to notate which book and the label number. Thank you!

  15. Good morning, Sure, you can put multiple private signing orders in one box. Just be sure to put the artist's initials on the outside of the box or notate, "multiple private signings" or something similar on the outside of the box and also include all your packing slips and have each order separated inside the box. So if something happens to your item while it is in our possession, it is covered under our insurance. We do not offer insurance to customers to purchase. There are companies out there that do offer collectibles insurance but you would have to purchase that on your own. Thank you,

Good morning, If you submitted an expedited tier (Express or Walkthrough) and you clearly noted it on the outside of your shipping box, then those are pulled out and opened faster than the regular mail. There can still be a slight delay of a few days just depending on how many expedited packages are ahead of yours but it will be opened as quickly as we can. Thank you!
  18. Good morning, Thanks for your message. This isn't a defect, it looks like the holder was damaged. You should contact the seller on that. We do offer a reholder service but there is a charge. We would only be able to offer a complimentary reholder if the original submitter received the book back from us with the damage to the holder and contacted us within two weeks of receiving the book back.     Moving

    Hi, if you have invoices here in the office, you do need to email customer service with the invoice numbers and the new address. Changing the address on file by logging into your account does not change the address on any invoices already in the system. We have to change each one of those manually. Thank you!

We work closely with our manufacturer to ensure that we receive only the highest quality holders, and we take great care to protect these holders during our grading process. The significant size and extreme clarity of these holders, however, makes it virtually impossible to prevent small scratches and scuffs that may occur during careful handling and in transit. You may check any book on our CGC Census to see what Key Comments, Art Comments and First Appearance notations are currently listed for that book. If you do not see a First Appearance notation that you believe should be noted, you may request it.
