Overall, did Edmonton Expo have about the same # of comic vendor booths as Calgary Expo? Did u get any comics signed? Please post some pics, if u took some.

Less than Calgary when it was prepandemic. Didn't get anything signed this go around, I had wanted Stokoe to sign some Moon Knight stuff, but I forgot my books at home. Didn't take any pictures of the events itself either, was busy digging through bins!

It delve into the Poyo or chicken story too much, but it was fun for the one story I've read. "This here ear piece is loaded with GPS and vital statistics, you kill us, they'll swarm you before we hit the ground!" Paraphrasing but lol was fun :x

If you read the whole series (60 issues) Poyo doesn't play an overwhelming role. He has just enough appearances and cameos that it fits wonderfully in the bizarre world they've created!

Yes Moon Knight dropping a bit.  Really like Moon Knight but the rise in prices seemed quite high IMYWO.  Coming back down to earth a bit now.

I just upgraded my WWBN 32 from a 7.0 to an 8.5 for virtually the same price I paid for the 7.0 a while ago. It's been falling pretty quickly. Still a pretty significant jump between an 8.5 and a 9.0 though.

It is astonishing how quickly, during the Pandemic, Instagram live BIN sales flouished.  Some IG sellers are knowledgeable, reputable sellers where you can buy with confidence on the advertised grade (Superworld and Silver Age Comics come to mind), but many others don't know how to grade or intentionally grade vaguely ("this is a nice mid-grade book, somewhere, I'd say, in the 5.5 to 7.0 range") -- not that it matters because buyers continue to throw money on the book (particularly $50 to $350 books) without a showing, ever, of the back cover or any look at the interior.

I like watching the instagram live sales just to see what people are asking for books, and what insufficiently_thoughtful_persons are paying for them. I don't know if people just get caught up in the hype, if sellers have shills "buying books" to attract others to do it, or whatever the case, but I have seen books sell for way more than you could buy it from doing 1 minute of research on eBay
