  1. I crack my slabbed Jumbo so I can read and enjoy. Of all the GA books, especially FH, Jumbo have the most of the best : )
  2. Thanks, that is prob my fav pick up of the lot this year. Your planet books are outstanding. I have yet to score a rivet issue, I keep getting outbid
  3. the color strike mess has to be production. My copy looks similar
  4. Let's keep FH thread moving. Here is book I got recently. Really nice condition w great color. This issue kicks off Ghost Gallery serial. I am always struck reading those as they remind me of the EC formula especially when Kamen gets involved in later years. Surely there was a direct influence on Gaines
  5. Congrats. Stunning color. Prob my favorite cover of the early Sheena. Was that the copy from HA? I missed it.
  6. Hi everyone I posted in wtb but doubt people look there so asking here. My next focus area big books are jumbo 9 and jungle 16. Other books less priority but still want are jumbo 11-20 and jungle 1, 5, 11. I prefer lower grade aka affordability. These are pc. I don’t care if slabbed or not. I usually remove from slab anyway. thx
  7. Got this barks classic last month. I feel bad for people who had to wait for months at time hoping to see full length barks on the newsstand.
  8. Honestly the mouse doesn't move me enough. With limited budget I am going for my favorite... the Donald-Scrooge is hands down what I enjoy, but combined w Huey/Duey/Louie trifecta. Even the 1980s-2010 stuff, scrooge material is some of best produced comics of anything period and available for peanuts. I get some Mickey material via WDCS I collect but I don't go out of my way for the mouse four color. I am surprised that Disney in general is so overlooked in this market. I think all Disney is way under valued and will eventually come back as people pursue quality. But if it doesn't I don't care, I have always been a collector at heart.
  9. Awesome. Congrats. I like this copy. well done. I bought my copy this year also. I kept putting it off for various reasons but seeing so many big keys sky rocket I didn’t want to wait for that price bottom and honestly I just like this book too much to procrastinate any longer. I think I paid 2004 gpa or something so hard to complain about prices in Disney these days. This is one of those books that is way more cool in hands vs looking at scan in online catalog.
  10. His name and address are in the subscription box.
  11. If you are allowed to post twice I can like it twice. Congrats
  12. I hunted off and on over the years but finally the timing worked out. Adding to my own promise collection …. Books I promised to one day own 🥳
  13. A cool Mexican edition Jungle I get a kick on this. Inside story it is as if she isn’t wearing make up but she is on the cover 🤣
  14. Growing my FH with really nice tree limb cover. What other title offers such fantastic adorned trees?
  15. I found a 10 but if someone can locate me lower grade 9 after Christmas I would be tickled.
  16. My first pedigree book. Crowley copy looks like they tried to press the subscription crease. But still nice book.
  17. Any of you cats have jumbo 9 or 10 you could part with? I need a copy of either. Or a cool Jungle Dino cover 😃. I have wtb add but didn’t think fh folks frequent that thread. I need to grow my FH collection.
  18. Per overstreet no staples if non glossy right under my nose been so long since used my Overstreet books.
  19. I looked at several scans on early issues can’t find any evidence for staples. Not obvious anyway. Keep folks posted what I find.
  20. quick question. So was March of comics published without staples? Issue 41 to specifically. Btw won clink 🥳
  21. Nice, I landed the HoF 15 (1) The Craig books are little chippy for my taste but it will stay in my PC. I agree the history makes it extra special to own.
  22. Cool, - fun trivia, there is a Greek edition from the 50's Sold for crazy money
  23. some awesome Mexican Prensa books. I haven't looked at this thread in while and was surprised to see these. Wow, after few pages of seeing "15" grease mark, I was thinking these high grade are ghost books, must be something special, then got to page w CGC pedigree slab. Ahh ha! LOL anyway congrats you hit lottery. There are only 2 collections I know if that had high grade Mexican. What we call Palacio , massive collection originating from Mexico City, The HNG (Hector Nava Garcia) which was reference collection from artist workshop (complete runs of everything Novaro/Presna; avg 6.0 but some are NM others below 4.) Occasionally we run across warehouse copies from USA dealers but not often, and usually only small # of books.
