  1. This thread needs a bump with a family photo pic. Here is TOS w his UK cousin. TOS 39 w UK by foxtrot70, on Flickr
  2. That is super cool Bill! How many do you have? I will have to share some pics of my bound volume, she is a real prize for me, 1-16 of Los 4 Fantasticos (La Prensa pub Mexico). Cheers Scott
  3. This is a crown collection Federico! In this thread we appreciate all things Foreign. Thanks for taking time to share. I only collect Spanish comics at this time, but if I had lots of money I would certainly chase Italian.
  4. Liam, your sig line is really looking great!!! and i am sure that scratches the surface.
  5. Very cool, first copy of #8 i have ever seen.
  6. The thread is back!! And how! Love it to pieces! I think I just lost my ability to speak!!! that is a neat book!!! dont see these often, impossible is a good description of scarcity for this book.
  7. Hey buddy That Action 23 is a high note for your collection, you must still be on cloud 9!! happy for you -scott
  8. Those Black Hood Top Notch are my favorite of the MLJ. Nice!!!
  9. Hi Friend, Yes it does! How do you remember all this stuff? not just this, but your knowledge of all the FF and other marvel stories is amazing. Chao Scott
  10. This thread needs a bump. Its a beater, but also probably a gerber 9, so happy to own "any" copy. The early Kirby material is my favorite. I know Antman doesn't get much love, but i really enjoy them. P1020428 by foxtrot70, on Flickr
  11. My most recent pick up is an uber rare Gato Negro 164. Will go nice next to my 163 P1020428 by foxtrot70, on Flickr
  12. I have owned and de-slabbed books w OW pq only to find tan on interior FC or BC. I have also had books appear nicer PQ than was was notated. I conclude you only take PQ designation at face value w prof grading. Just buy the label and best presentation of the "slabbed" prospects your after. It is like a job interview, dont give them a reason not to pick you if you can help it. Although I wouldnt pass a good deal on a Crm PQ either. If your "investing", it only takes 1 buyer at a fair price.
  13. Lots of love for FF annuals! My copy could use some crest whiteners for the cover, but really she is as high grade as you can hope for in the Mexican edition. The interior pages are very white however. Fortunately La Prensa used high grade paper. LosFantasticos Ann#2 my copy by foxtrot70, on Flickr
  14. New arrival I could read this comic once a week and Enjoy the art and story each time. Fantasticos 75 1st SilverSurfer by foxtrot70, on Flickr
  15. Judging from your sig line, i think you might like "fantasticos" printed by La Prensa, which contain Spanish editions of various Sci Fi material including some Frazetta covers. I am even sure i saw WSF 25 w Williamson cover in that run. They are rare but would be fun to chase.
  16. Nice book! yeah, I think i would be standing in the soupline if I bought one that nice.
  17. The rise of Iron Man.... the fall of AF 15
  18. Maybe ya'll can appreciate Kirby en Espanol! The human torch was always a favorite of mine. The stories are not as strong in this run, but I enjoy the whole experience nonetheless. StrangeTales101 by foxtrot70, on Flickr
  19. Para Español punto numero uno P1010866 by foxtrot70, on Flickr
  20. Wow some serious upgrades in record time. Congrats!!!
  21. Wow, that is a nice low grade. Congrats. JIM 83 is such a great book.
  22. Wow, $768 for a raw 2.0... aggressive price! Looks like two bidders fought to the death past the $300 mark. Richie sold two copies in similar cond for 700-800 range. Have to throw out the guide on Hangman #3. One of his copies had tape along the spine.
  23. I read this book last night. Jack Kirby is greatness in any language I really like how La Prensa editors handled the cover inks. It really improved the overall feel and composition versus the US edition. I often wonder if they even had references to go from or if they had to improvise on occasion. Oh well, its all GOOD!
