  1. Ok this comment literally just made me spit iced tea all over my cat's face. Awesome.
  2. And so are you mate You just love me for my Revival 9.9... Since we're like, best friends and all (self-proclaimed on this end of course), umm, when can I get a stab at your 9.9 cover price as well??? Oh and as far as the "hero worship" goes, yea, big friggin deal if some boardies truly appreciate and "follow-in-the-footsteps" of what another boardie does? How does that effect you in any way? Why do you get "butt-hurt" over it? Let them/us revere someone else who's EXTREMELY knowledgeable in the field to guide us and give us advice for free. God forbid someone with more knowledge than someone else says something, and some people want to listen and express gratitude, now we're just "crazy losers who worship others". Get a life and go bother other people on Reddit or 4chan. Go back to having your panties twisted and untie them somewhere else. Dre, thank you so much for helping out other newish people get in/back in the hobby with knowledge for our noggins, we appreciate it. Now you get 30 seconds for your emmy speech, and no more, otherwise the music starts to play.
  3. Around? I was in Vegas last weekend and actually busy at work, no time to post lately
  4. To the new guy on the boards that everyone is welcoming... When this guy above talks...you listen....
  5. The picture is huge so don't wanna break the thread, but heres my score for the day.
  6. This really sucks I wish I had extra cash to help you with your lost funds, this mess pisses me off so bad.
  7. Sorry for making you face palm before, but this I agree with 100%. 16 covers, then another variant the very next issue? Cmon Kirkman, give it a break.
  8. Andy don't fret over people taking this comment the wrong way. Sheesh, you'd think that using emoticons would mitigate the tension and allow people to interpret written text into emotion, thus knowing when someone typing something is either to be taken lightly or being serious. I'm sorry you guys missed his after that sentence, but when someone does that, that usually means they were just kidding with their previous statement. There was no need to get offended over that. Now if he said it like "Seriously, leave the boards, open the doors and go outside for a bit " Then you should take offense or start a stink with it. But the grinning is to say "hey bud, just playing around". And if you can't take that kind of playfulness on here, I don't think you should be discussing things on the internet with "internet friends" (or real friends for that matter) at all as you'll probably get offended by every little jab someone makes at you. Most jabs amongst friends/internet friends are to be taken lightly.
  9. Wow, just got done reading the last 8 pages. This thread is so frigging delicious I literally can't take another bite. I'm going to bed. Goodnight Cat woman/WDwhatever/WDwhatever!!
  10. I'll be subbing one of each cover tomorrow probably. They all look fantastic, and it will be my first submission(outside of my submission done onsite last month which was really my first ever). Finally signed up for the membership so very excited, wish me luck!
  11. Holy neckbeard batman!! JK, I'd hit it Girl is super cute too
  12. I was able to pick up three copies! I'm wondering if I should have accepted your offer? Can someone explain the importance of this book to me? Also, did you leave any on the shelf, Pike?
  13. Congrats! And yes, you're the one and only with a 10.0 #36 in the census I also just noticed there are two 10.0 #100 regular covers in the census as of 8/6, do these belong to anyone here?
  14. 2002!!! The year I once sneezed and a blue booger came out!
  15. No offense, but what are you talking about? I buy stuff shipped by USPS every day on ebay, and it tracks right to my door, on their site. Most of it arrives in <10 days, depending how far away they are. For CGC books, if they ship priority, I have had it in 2 days, from Cali, and I live 2 hours from Detroit.... Having your money locked by Ebay sounds like it has more to do with you being a new seller, than anything to do with Canada. USPS tracks right to the door, here's a 9.6 ToT #1..... https://tools.usps.com/go/TrackConfirmAction_input?strOrigTrackNum=CF000978159US I can't see the details cause apparently you can only go back 60 days on your sold items (seriously?), but anyway, I remember gettin an 'L' tracking number which I chalked it up to being shipping out of the country, I'm trying my hardest to remember, but I don't know if I chose Priority, or the one below that. It was a KidRobot 8' Dunny, so it was in a box, not too big at all. The estimated delivery time it gave was 25 days, I thought that was absurd, I'm in Florida, but Canada isn't all that far away. Yes, its on the opposite side of the country, but I've shipped things to the tip of North America and it's got there in just a couple of days. Heck, that same week I shipped another Dunny to a guy in Hawaii and he received it in like 4 days using Priority. That's way farther away than to Canada. Perhaps it got held up in customs, who knows, but sure enough, the estimated time was right on point. And again, it wouldn't track anything after it left the US, therefore it went by the estimated time, rather than actual delivery date. All in all it was just a really crappy experience that left a horrible taste in my mouth, more for eBay/Paypal, not Canada However because of that, I won't ship to Canada anymore if selling something on eBay. Here on the boards? Sure I will.
  16. Sorry, but I won't ship to Canada ever again (at least until I sell enough items on eBay to where I get the funds in my account instantly). I had to ship something to a Canadian buyer (reluctantly I might add, because he kept nagging me to sell it to him even though I specified only shipping to US), and of course, since there was no tracking information once it leaves the US, I ended up not getting my funds for almost 30 days cause it used the default "estimated time of arrival + 3 days", which came to just under 30 days. I really needed that money too at the time, so I was furious I had to wait so long. So yes, Canada may just be North America's hat, super close, and cutting off "millions" of potential bidders, but that still doesn't negate the fact that it takes way too long to get your money from the sale.
  17. This was exactly what I was looking for . Thanks.
  18. were you hear when we had a few pages deleted?? we had some people hating on the book due to all the speculation and saying the only reason this book had a high print run was due to this thread. It was pretty interesting.. too say the least.. I was leaving when that happened. Hopefully no more drama. This book rocks, plain and simple. If it makes some of us a little bit of money I'm fine with that. Especially if were pumping it right back into more Revival goodness. Even if this book wasn't selling well on eBay at all and making no money for anyone I'd still love it. Personally I haven't made jack off this book, I'd like to though. Need to slab some copies now that I'm back from Vegas. I need money badly .
  19. I've been gone for 4 days. Someone give me a cliff notes version of what I missed in the last 100 posts.
