After someone posted the thirdeye website still had their variant for only 14.99 still (rather than the 19.99 they upped it to on eBay), I decided to buy two of them. Seems like these were flying under the radar, or, just not as desirable really, but I was always planning on getting a couple anyway because the completionist in me was not going to not have all the variants of one of my favorite comics right now.

The next 9.4 you get (which is inevitable) would be your third, right? I'm just going to throw hats at you everytime I see you.

So anyway, about the story....If you haven't read it still, get out. Its been out long enough and this thread is made for discussing the story. /rant Who here has any theories on how the dad reacts to finding out his daughter is turned? Or, do you think they'll keep that secret from him for a while? My thought is they won't tell him for a while, and that it might take on its own whole sub-plot just hiding it from him. Once he does find out I'm sure hell go ape

I still can't get a good read on the Escape variant. Prices were dropping a bit from the ~$75 mark for a few days, now its back there, with the one below at $130 with 20 bids! The escape variant was a part of the box set if I remember correctly, which sucks since you paid $250 on something that only had 100 made and it was missing an item

I got four 9.6's back a few weeks ago from one shipment/submission, and only 1 of the 4 had graders notes.

Dude you can guess the label number as long as you have the Invoice number which you must have already, I've told you this in the past. Just add xxx to the end of the invoice number, where xxx = each book you submitted. If you submitted 5 books, it will be your invoice number + 001 or 002 or 003, etc.

I already stated that I'm actually a bit intrigued, legal or not, and may buy into this thing after learning what everyone is getting. That's my main motivation for contacting the winners, see what issues have been sent out. If 80 issues get sent all non key, if the guy is genuine in sending out key issues, then process of elimination would dictate I have a chance at scoring a great book for $30.

The alien thing is also on the cover of #3.... I think it will have a big part in the story.

Yea its clear eBay doesn't give a hoot cause multiple people have reported him as Rosen said, as it clearly goes against their policies, but its been up for a while and has sold almost 30 of them. Issue 8 is the only one that comes close to the $30 price tag.

That's exactly what we're doing here, is seeing if anyone who purchased a "lotto ticket" is getting any key issues, which the seller promises. It's simple, ask every single person who orders from him, so far everyone has replied and willing to divulge what they received. I want to see someone reply saying they got a key, and if that happens, maybe ill bite. If we get 85 or so non key issue responses, one can assume the rest are going to be decent grabs for $30. If there's a duplicate or no keys sent, he'll be outed as scamming.
