  1. Ok, so this isn't a Timely or Marvel - but it is Ditko! Out of This World 5 - 1.8-2.0, chunk out of bottom of cover, spine is rough but attached, cf attached. I love this cover, and if you like Ditko, you have to get these Charlton books! $25 SOLD!!!
  2. Journey Into Unknown Worlds 54, I'm going to call this one a 1.5 since it is bent (storage bend) and ratty at top of spine (mostly on the back), even though it is fully attached inside and out. $15
  3. Journey into Mystery 74, a nice VG- (3.5) with heavy Marvel Chipping on the right edge and a storage bend at the top of the spine (and some writing on the cover). Otherwise nice glossy cover, fully attached inside and out. $30 SOLD!!!
  4. Journey Into Mystery 73 - minor Key where a spider is irradiated (thats exposed to Radiation) in a reverse of the Spider-Man (as in The Amazing). At least thats what everyone else says. This 2.0 copy, cf tight, lays flat, cover detached at bottom staple/spine split to above bottom staple, can be all yours for $30! SOLD!!!
  5. Astonishing! 56, another 1.8-2.0 fully attached but well loved - $15 SOLD!!!
  6. Strange Tales of the Unusual 6, this is about a 1.8 or less - cf tight, cover loose at bottom staple, lays flat etc. $20 SOLD!!!
  7. In no particular order: Strange Tales 57, about a 2.0. Everything solidly attached and lays flat. $40 SOLD!!!
  8. Usual rules: Be nice to each other, wait your turn in line - oh, wait, those are rules for something else . . . First in the thread wins, trumps all conditional takes or PM agreements. No HOSers or other bad actors. Shipping is $4 - buy them all and its $4, buy one its still $4. These are low grade, but complete (unless noted), and some are beat - and I mean that literally! Thanks for shopping!
  9. So, how many of us are checking daily the progress of the Comicconnect coverless Tec (and the first AC 1 page)?
  10. Finally Worlds of Fear 4 glossy smooth cover, floating eye-balls galore! Skulls! Zombie! Spine is ok, a few splits and staples nicely attached. Bottom staple slightly rusty. Interior has supple off-white pages, everything attached. Moldoff cover, Powell art. Eye this one at $275!
  11. Worlds of Fear 3 with a great voodoo mask and zombie cover! Moldoff cover, Moldoff art, and incredible art by George Evans! Glossy cover, spine rough at bottom half with a 1/2" spine split at bottom. Creasing at top and bottom right corners. Centerfold detached at top staple. Bright off white interior. $325
  12. This Magazine is Haunted 4 - glossy but definitely has been around moisture, bottom right corner even shows some water stain. Otherwise a nice book, no rust on staples, everything tightly attached, bright interior colors. A 6.5 sold recently for over $1,000, so I am going to be generous and offer this one at $575 . . .
  13. Next is Tales of Terror 11, nice flower attacking nice girl. Well, not so nice flower, but very nice girl. Vertical color breaking creases, spine has some stressing, bottom edge a little rough, but cover is glossy and attached well, interior has off-white supple pages, centerfold detached at bottom staple. A 3.0 recently sold for $195, so I'm going to ask $250
  14. Next is Marvel Tales 109, doesn't seem to be anything "special" about this issue except its a Vampire cover (barely). Syd Shores art. Cover has some scratches/color breaking creases running vertically, spine is rough with rips and breaks. Cover attached with rips at staples. Interior supple cream/OW pages, centerfold tight. Asking a crazy $75
  15. We'll do this in Alphabetical order: First up Ghostly Weird Stories 123. Classic cover! proto-Swamp Thing? L. B. Cole cover. Disbrow art. Jo Jo GGA. Cover is nice and Glossy. two color breaking creases upper right corner, cover detached at bottom, top hanging on. 1/2" spine split at top, 3/4" spine split at bottom. Spine is rough but not too rough. Interior is cream to off white supple pages. You give it a grade. Only 9 on the census, nothing sold recently. I'm asking a crazy $900 shipped.
  16. I am asking more than I might if I was in a rush to sell these, so make offers but I may just rather send them in to get graded and then sell. Ending this Wednesday night 10 PM EST. Usual rules: First in the thread wins, trumps all PMs and conditional stuff No HOS, problem children or otherwise difficult people. PayPal or check (but check must clear before book is sent out). 18. OK, I totally messed up my calculation - didn't take into consideration that each page is 2 sided - DUH. So the non-Bats pages would add up to 26 pages - still over $50K for all those pages (cf being more expensive).
  19. I am curious to see how the copy going on sale on CC does - they are sure trying to promote it with all its flaws. I'm shocked at how much a single non-Bat page went for. I know sometimes pages go for a premium (not sure why, but there has to be a good explanation), but if we do some simple math: Tec 27, 68 pages - 4 for cover -4 for cf -8 for Bats story (really 7, but back of last odd page has to be counted as part of the Bats story) =52 pages left over 52 x $2,000 = $104,000!!! Or was that page that sold really a full wrap? If a full wrap its much more reasonable - 13 non Bats wraps x $2,000 = $26,000. Bats pages of course go for much more than a regular page, and the cf is arguable just as valuable since it is the first part of most books that is lost. So a nice coverless without a centerfold, somewhere in the 40K range - probably higher 40s to more, with centerfold add another 10K or sky's the limit?
  20. But that second page of Tec 27 is much more dramatic and full of action.
