The American Air Forces 2, 2.5-3.0 or so (decent cover, but slightly brittle pages). Classic Anti-Japanese racist cover. GPA says 3.0 just sold for $216. I'm asking $175. Cheap!!!

The American Air Forces 1, 1.5-1.8. Cover is there and complete, but its rough and detached. Interior is nice. Article by creator of Smilin Jack. German War cover. $40

Early Silver DC - Star Spangled War Stories 56, nice 4.0, maybe a little better. Glossy, used comic. Nice white pages. $25

War Heroes 3 and 6, both decent low grade copies. Some of the edges (lower right, see scans) are brittle, but the rest of the book doesn't seem brittle (I bent pages, and they didn't break, so that's my methodology). 3 has a great pro-Soviet back cover image! $50 for the pair.

Ok, lets get a couple more listed . . . going deep Golden Age here (December 1940 to be exact) Wings Comics 4, 1.8 - cover is detached, mostly split, but its all there. See scans for condition (its low grade). CGC 3.5 sold for $135. Asking $80.

I'll jump to Silver Age for a DC Our Army at War 7 book lot. Issues 169, 170, 185, 198, 199, 200 and 207. I'd put them all at about 5.0 or maybe even 5.5 - they're glossy and supple, but just a little too much reading creasing/stress marks along the spine/left cover area for me to go higher. asking $100 shipped.

Rangers Comics 67 nice 5.0 - intro of GI Jane (?), Space Ranger starts, bright colors and page quality is very nice. GPA has a recent sale of a 3.5 at $55. I'm gonna ask $80

hmmm, lets start with a group of Golden oddies . . . Battle Stories 3-6, Fawcett war books from 1952. No relevant GPA data, going to ask $80 for the group (shipped price). 3 would have been a solid 5.5 but for the chunk out of the top left. 4 is a solid 4.5 5 is 6.0-6.5 range 6 is also 6.0-6.5 range.

Ok, first the preliminaries - we will follow the Geneva Conventions for all belligerents. No HOS or problem children. First in the thread wins, trumps PMs or conditional takes. This is a very long thread for me so it will roll out slowly (That doesn't mean you should pay slowly). I will try to list as much as I can, and feel free to PM to see what else is coming. Silver is almost exclusively DC titles, but the Gold is a wide variety of publishers. Feel free to make offers, package deals are always appreciated (and more likely to be accepted). I accept PayPal, money order or personal check (must clear in the bank before the book is sent out). Payment can be as soon as you are done or I will send out an invoice/PM with the final amount. Please pay within 2 days unless discussed. Shipping for up to 4 books is $4. I am listing a few groups of comics and any above 4 books I will try to have a shipping price in the listing. Canada is cost, overseas discuss before you take (can be worked out). Any racist content is purely the fault of the original publishers and I do not condone nor promote racism, but the covers do give interesting insight into the period and what was going on at the time. Finally (7th book, Bakers half dozen - get it???), The Texan 15, 3.0. Looks nice but detached at top staple and rough spine. Baker cover but no Baker babes. $40.

The Texan 9, nice cover but spine is a mess (attached). 3.0 or so. Baker cover only, but what a cover! Asking $75.

The Texan 8, pretty decent 3.0-3.5, I like this cover (who wouldn't, baker babes are great), has a few Baker stories, so that's fun, but has some water issues upper right corner. Asking $75.

Next up is a group of . . . The Texan 5, Baker cover and art. Respectable 4.0, solid copy. I just don't see any for sale, or any sold, so I'm going out on a limb and guessing these aren't showing up that often and should be commanding huge prices! Or, maybe not. Asking $100 . . SOLD!!!.

Fightin Marines 3, a really nice 4.0 - subscription crease, otherwise a solid book. Last GPA was 3.0 for $72 in 17, so I'm going to ask $120.
