ok keep digging your hole. Also, make sure when you're house is on fire you don't call the fire department, or when you want to go somewhere you don't use the tax funded roads... Our society and the social contract requires give and take my friend.

I mean you can do the right thing and pay your taxes regardless of where you sell? Not sure you want to imply you're trying to dodge taxes on a public forum...

Are there any Keys that are just 'Blah' to you?

It appears worse than that, the chain doesn't even appear to have gone around his chest to hold him down; it's as if someone just laid a chain on his chest, not around his chest. -
It sounds like they're just using Priority with "regular" insurance. They either aren't aware/don't care (too big of a hassle) that shipping it registered would be significantly cheaper to insure.

For me I have the same feeling about X-Men #50; whenever I see a copy I catch myself staring and not being able to look away. It's just such a gorgeous cover, my favorite Starenko cover by far. -

Look at that gatekeeping; 50 years ago almost every engine was pushrod based that required valve adjustment as part of GENERAL MAINTENANCE. Most engines today are overhead cam and the design has improved to the point where you don't need to adjust the valves every 20-30k miles.... and shame on owners manuals 50 years ago not discouraging people to to drink from the battery fountain. -
lol, I hear that. I pulled out 15 copies of X-Men #1 out of this box too...

This week I found a long box I didn't realize I still had and found 3 Black Panther #1's, two in pretty high grade. It's "new" to me since I didn't know I still had them!

ASM 194- The Latest ASM Issue Blowing Up?
ramrodcar replied to Jaydogrules's topic in Bronze Age Comic Books
Book is getting crazy, I am waiting for a copy back as well Honestly I don't understand with how bad ebay treats sellers in the dispute process, that people take risks in listing expensive books like this on their platform. -
They're the same thing, just one has a more positive connotation. I call myself the later, my wife would call me the former

Our Recent Experience Selling Comics Through Mycomicshop
ramrodcar replied to thehumantorch's topic in Comics General
It's no secret that books priced reasonably sell almost immediately considering how good their customer want list functionality is and how accessible their new listing page is. They move massive volumes so while it's not one stop shopping, it's definitely a better alternative then anywhere else, at least for raw books, imo. -

I think "CGCDGAF Pedigree" is more on point. -
for all of you "switchers", I'm curious how you've isolated your personal collection inventory vs. your selling inventory, as well as tracking cost of goods sold/cash basis accounting/accrual accounting, etc....... How are you guys accounting for buying up say 100 books @ $100 total, keeping 5 for yourself, and slowly selling off the remaining 95 books?

this is probably the answer tbh

nice pick up! -
Yep, however I can't figure out how to logically reason the inverse (that heat/humidity/pressure is selectively restoration)
-
I took the first part of your comment as you being sour that pressing is not restoration (and should be). My point is that I think we can all probably agree that a book being in heat/humidity/pressure without a press for days, weeks, years is not restoration. The method in which a book is subjected to heat/humidity/pressure is arbitrary.
