  1. Some guy was selling his Uncle's comic collection that he inherited, 50 cents a book.

I picked up about 300 books in total. Lots of 70s Justice League, Batman, Detective Comics and Brave & The Bold.

In the same lot, got a bunch of key issues too, in 8 - 9.4 Condition.

Secret Wars #8, New Teen Titans #2, Wolverine #1, lots of Mcfarlane Spider-Mans, Dark Phoenix X-Men, Captain Marvels. Lots of good stuff.

    pics?

  2. new house, fiancée allowed me this tower of comics for my 'good' raws. I will rotate the comics on the display from time to time. Its in our entry way, which typically is unlit, and also why her umbrella is hanging there....

still trying to carve out a place for my slabs somewhere. maybe some shelves in the garage? Does anyone else put them in a garage? We live in a fairly dry moderate temperature climate. Will slabs do ok there?

    that umbrella could fall....

accident waiting to happen there, dude!

I've got a few other random comic stuffs, a poster, a collage, a single comic on display here and there around the house, just nothing so concentrated as here.

THe umbrella at worst knocks over that one comic at the bottom if it falls (which is mid grade and in the hard sleeve thingy). The umbrella isn't a permanent fixture at this location. It rained today so its probably going in the car going forward.

garage slab display opinions? any issues?

    thats a wet umbrella?

  4. I can share a PS4 game with as many people as I want who are not in my familly.

I wonder How Companies like EA will cope with the two systems having two different DRM methods

I think EA was the one behind trying to get them both to have DRM but when Sony said to no on adding any restrictions. They mostly got mad and gave MS dlc exclusive on games and a little more support.
That would be my guess too.

so EA are jumping on Microsoft's sinking ship

EA has done some stupid stuff in the past.

    that they have

  6.

I get your point. I was on my 4th XBox when I traded it in for the new Slim model. What you are forgetting, or more my point, is despite all the limitations, XBox has outsold Sony time and time again. Microsoft can do that with a system that breaks down AND charging for live service. You have to wonder why that is possible.

Personal feelings or bias aside, sales numbers don't lie.

PS3 has outsold the 360 as of January, 77 million PS3's to 76 million 360's, the PS3 was released a year after the XBox so it had a years worth of sales to catch up on which it finally did

the original XBox sold 24 million as of 2006 and the PS2 sold over 150 million so i don't know how they have outsold Sony time and time again

  7. I use the same ink. Its the best readily available ink around.

I've been taking on quill / nibs lately. I'm trying to find the right holder because these cheap PO speedball holders for the Hunt 102 just don't do it for me. I'm looking at the Tachikawa T-40 holder now.

I recently found a great place online for Copic markers and multiliners as well as refills and replacement nibs. Their prices are fantastic and they ship quickly.

i have hunt 102's and use the speedball holder, not great but none of them are really, or at least i have yet to find a great one. I also began using Copic Multiliner SP's which i really like using, especially the 0.03 size.
