  1. Wow what a great finale this show went to a different level with the way it ended. Can't wait to see were they go for season 2

i think we can assume that...

everyone who didn't die at the end of this episode will still be there next season, Felicity/Roy/Thea/Diggle

  2. I noticed that the earthquake machine was stolen from the crate. I wonder if they are going to do a "destroy Gotham type story" like they did in Batman comics. Maybe Quakemaster will be showing up?

Merlyn moved it when he found out his computers were hacked

    Spoiler

Why did Merlin say "OH NO" at the end ? Are we going to find out he's Oliver's father?

that's be a good twist, i thought about what he said too because i can't figure out why he's so ruthless with everyone but not with Olly

  3. It was a great episode, I will never be eating while I watch another Felicity heavy episode again.

Her line in the casino cause me end up making myself choke on some pizza.

+1. I also liked the reference to the "boring Ted Cord fund raiser"

Blue Beetle was a name that popped up somewhere about getting other characters involved, he'd work but i'm sure they wouldn't use the name

"it's really good having you inside me"

i prefer her in glasses too

  4. i'm beginning to think that the series needs to tie alot of loose ends before the series is over, not many episodes left and we aren't much closer to understanding the whole underground train logo (on the book) except that it has something to do with the glades.

Tommy heel turn coming too, i'm expecting Malcolm to find out about Moira trying to kill him, Olly saving her and killing Malcolm, Tommy becoming the new Dark Archer

  5. Has anyone here taken art classes?

I've been thinking about attending one to improve my drawing.

For those who have attended one, what type of course was it? Did it help you improve?

So far I have not had much luck as the local college art courses appear to include alot of things I really don't wish to know, i.e. history, fabrics, clay etc.

i want to model for you :shy:

  6. Just picked up an Intuos 5 - still in experimental mode for both graphics and fine art. I'm switching back and forth with it and the mouse in Illustrator for logo work, and still trying to get used to it using Painter.

The hardest part for me - as an artist - is not actually looking at what I am drawing. I am making the motions with my hand/arm, but I can't directly see what I am doing. I have to look at the monitor to see what is going on. It's like drawing on a sheet of paper without looking at what you are doing. It's very weird - but I'm sure I'm just not used to it.

Any tablet-using Boardies have any advice or tips?

i had the same trouble with not seeing what i'm drawing, the pen on screen ones are pretty decent but a tad pricey

  7. Morrison stinks so I purged it from my memory.

    +1

    respect for Arkham though

You mean the Arkham Asylum book? For sure... although I don't like Dave Mckean, he ruined the Miracleman covers.

And early Morrison did write Batman Gothic which is one of my favourite stories. However he ruined Batman for me with RIP and the surrounding stories. Snyder is clearing up his mess.

Back on topic... so that #227 huh?

true and true, though i like McKean
