  1. The one that comes to mind in the do-over category is “Exorcist: The Beginning”, which was literally filmed twice over (the first being called "Dominion: Prequel to The Exorcist"). However the difference was the studio wanted a different direction (and to keep using the property), not the general public (who got both movies eventually though)
  2. I like the color strike on the 1.5, and honestly I could live with that corner chunk missing (especially how cute it looks to have a tiny Spider-Man peeking over). 100% pass on the raw copy. However I prefer the 2.5. Married pages mean nothing to me, at the end of the day they are literally the same pages from the same comic. Everything is still original. Also, I always consider with big stuff how good a restoration candidate they might be (how high a grade can it get with as little money invested into it) and the 2.5 is perfect if that is ever a route you want to go down (as it won't need leaf casting, which is expensive)
  3. 1.8, but a 2.0 is not out of the question.
  4. Awesome buyer. Picked up a large stack of early epic ASM issues from me, paid quickly and was super friendly throughout the entire process. Sell them all your comics!
  5. Corrected the price to where it should have been and then dropped it more for the hell for it.
  6. Anyone interested in an instant early Spider-Man reader collection? Please no hall of shamers or probies. Will ship anywhere in North America, and I only accept Pay Pal (or EMT if in Ontario). Price is in USD. Shipping to Canada is $15 and to the USA will be $20. If in Hawaii please add an additional $5 to help cover the extra shipping costs to you.First timestamped gets it over any pending PM offers. Send me a message with any questions or offers you may have. Amazing Spider-Man lot - 16 issues - all Low grade & raw. SOLD Once again I'm helping a buddy out sell some comics in order to raise funds for his growing family (though in this case he is going to use it towards a grail). He lives out of province from me so while I wasn't able to inspect the issues personally I've had him take lots of pictures of each issue so that it will be very easy for you all to see the conditions - they are all pretty much low grade raw books and will price them so they affordable and account for anything we might have missed. All issues are complete, except for issue 20 (1st Scorpion) which is missing the poster at the back (otherwise it would be maybe a 1.5) This lot includes sixteen early Amazing Spider-Man issues in various conditions (but all low grade regardless). I've put together a list of the issues here and my estimate on the grades, however I encourage you to look through all the photos for each issue in case I'm off. 7. Yeah that one is just the most eye catching to me and I would kill for that copy. Soooo good!
  8. Since I lurk in this thread trying to make my own dream of owning this book happen one day (I think I've accepted that the best option for me is to just buy the Usagi Yojimbo 2020 IDW Foil Reprint for display, as my other keys I'm hunting for ain't cheap either) I figured I might as well live vicariously through my friend who is also searching for Albedo #2....but he might have the means to get one. My bestie is looking to sell a good chunk of his collection (basically every Spider-Man issue ever) and wanted me to ask if anyone here was interested in trading a low/mid Albedo #2 (raw or graded) for his Amazing Spider-Man #1 (signed by Stan Lee). I told him it might be a very slim to none chance, but hey, I've made weirder trades before so who knows
  9. Time for me to clear up more space and do another Instagram free giveaway. This time it's a pandemic theme, though our current pandemic is not with human-fly hybrids murdering us all (at least we can be thankful about that). Winner will get the complete The Fly Outbreak comic series in trade paperback (this series acted as the final chapter in the movie trilogy - so fans of those two original Fly movies will want this book) Just jump on over to follow my instagram and leave a like/comment on this post. That's it! https://www.instagram.com/p/CJ4KHwxh1_x/
  10. Ohh lots of nice stuff. Interested in that Cheerios Promotion Y1 once you list it I'm another local so meeting up would be super easy!
  11. Rudy is an awesome seller, was able to track down a comic I've been struggling to find. Great transaction.
  12. That is a VERY good looking 5.5, I could totally see that getting some sort of small grade bump from a clean/press/resub
  13. No longer a sleeper hit , as the last two sales in December for two 9.8s went for $1,400usd and $1,375usd (in fact the higher was sold just two days before your post, the other selling a few days later). We shall see if the prices hold on this (Alas I do not have this book in that grade, mine is a 9.6 signature series but still looks damn good like you said due to that vibrant red cover)
  14. Will say this, even though the site itself is questionable the customer service is some of the better out there when talking to support staff via email. Also, I think the auction I just won from them at the end of last year might have been the best shipped book I've ever been sent (both in packaging, speed, AND proper customs process that resulted in no additional import charges with it coming into Canada). So, yeah, now I'm most certainly more open to buying items $800-$1,500 range from them in the future.
  15. The proper artist credit goes to dvglzv, he and his other comic book work can be found here https://www.instagram.com/dvglzv/
  16. alright, upgrade to a 9.8 and pocket the rest of the cash after demanding double!
  17. Sell it now and then wait and upgrade it later What you could get for a 9.2 pence copy could easily bump you up to a 9.6 us copy.
  18. #68 is especially interesting, since that isn't Boba Fett on the cover yet is being swept up in all the Mandalorian fever (it is a good cover, but half of the people I know buying it graded are doing so because of the cover and thinking Boba Fett is awesome, the rest are speculating outright on Fenn Shysa)
  19. I'm not at all well versed in Tracy, so maybe someone else can let us know if there ever was a major team-up, but from what I understand while all of them were criminals in one way or another, not all of the criminals in the strip would qualify as "villains", and even then a good deal of them were operating in an organization run by Big Boy (so calling any joint criminal ventures a 'team-up' seems to be a little disingenuous). I dunno, like I said - not familiar with it either so no clue Regardless of if a platinum era team-up occurred, it feels safe to say More Fun #70 is the first true DC super-villain team-up at least (and should be labeled as such once fully confirmed, much like Fantastic Four #6 is by CGC)
