  1. I have a copy of MGN #4, $5.95 Price Edition. There is nothing to indicate which printing it is on the indicia. I'm in Canada and I picked two of these up as part of an OO collection that sat in someone's basement for well over 30 years (if not more), I just assumed these were Canadian Price Editions. I will have to double check now my copies of MGN #1... I can include pics when I get home from work and not sure if this helps but interesting discussion.
  2. I just assumed that the only $5.95 was a Canadian edition...Mine only has $5.95 listed as the price whereas the example below has both? http://www.comicvine.com/marvel-graphic-novel-4-the-new-mutants-renewal/4000-21793/ Either way, glad I have a copy.
  3. How do you know it's a Canadian version...? It is priced differently, $5.95 or something like that...The US version is $4 something? $4.95? Too lazy to look it up exactly. I think that is the only indicator though.
  4. Me too!!! Hmmmm...I wonder if Warlock will FOX's Groot equivalent???
  5. nope a comic shop that's now into war hammer and other rather than comics so they just kinda sit there Man, why can't there be a former comic store around me selling ASM #300 for cover price...Sigh...
  6. Get rid of the metal teeth and face tats and it would be fine. Besides, still not any worse than the current New 52 Joker going all "Buffalo Bill" with his "face mask"...
  7. What's the best way or any advice on how to "package" sets to sell at a show?
  8. I am SO waiting to get home from work and watch this... I'm kind of wondering/hoping if at some point (this or future seasons) if Jennifer Walters will make an appearance in the courtroom??
  9. To keep with the "theme" of d-bags, I had up a DD Man Without Fear complete mini-series for sale. Scans of all the books, grades, etc. A guy messages me: "Hello, #1 is a newsstand edition and the rest are direct copies. Nuff said" I respond: "'Nuff said??? What is your point? It is a complete set of #1 - #5 of The miniseries." His next response was "Sorry. It is a complete set. My bad." Was he trying to tell me how "smart and knowledgeable he was? I don't know, that kind of thing just irks me and set off a warning bell. I mean, had I made a legitimate listing error, I would have appreciated the info and made the correction but just some random snarky comment for no reason? No thanks. Rather not deal with them.
  10. New deadbeat buyer to add to the list. thepaleninja Bid on and won a Howard the Duck (1st series) lot from me, never paid, never responded to messages, unpaid item case opened and closed.
  11. I was scrolling through the thread and forgot to give a bit of an update...I am still waiting on several others to get back from CGC but I was very pleased with this one...
  12. Was hoping for a little better on a couple of them but pretty much what I was expecting and generally pleased.
  13. I diidn't make this public, but when my good reputation is attacked I defend it. John, It is pretty clear you and you alone either messed up by accident or on purpose. If you are concerned with your reputation as a seller, just say "sorry" and gladly accept the books back + return shipping. Bottom line, you have a reasonable customer who is not happy with his purchase as you did not meet terms of the deal. Take it all back, pay the return shipping, apologize, learn from this so you can sell another day. This is not really all that difficult.
  14. Coupon Submission: Received - 03/04/2015 Verified - 03/05/2015
  15. I just received this submission back from CGC yesterday. To say that I am pleased is a bit of an understatement.
  16. First purchase of 2015. Continuing with this crazy dream of maybe having the entire ASM run (excluding variant covers) one day.
  17. I wish he would have drawn a spider-roach on that one... Just Say No to Spider-Roaches.
  18. Got this in a couple of weeks ago, forgot to post/share. My "Stan Lee" book. I dig it. Not about the grade or value, I just wanted a 'fun' book signed by 'The Man'. Gotham/Jimmy hooked me up from Fan Expo.
  19. http://www.colorforms.com/ Holy smokes that is awesome! ! Learn never to assume...Or type something before double-checking...Egg on face...
  20. Nothing grand, but another Spidey peculiarity for my collection...Picked it up at a local antique sale...Guy was asking $20, I paid $10. Probably $5 too much, but hey, I personally don't see to see these too often. Amazing Spider-Man Adventure Playset (1974) by Colorforms Toys (intact). Can't imagine why they are no longer in business... Box (coolest thing about it) Instructions (I love the part "For Parents") "Playset"
  21. I subbed books end of October and am now around the 15 week wait without any movement. So I think you'll be in the new TAT if you subbed Dec/Jan. 15 weeks. For pressing? SON OF A...
  22. Buyer never responded to invoice or follow up messages, unpaid item case opened and closed. white26-123
  23. A TAT is not a policy, it's (ideally) a reflection of how long the process takes. So if they change their TATs that should give you an idea of how long the books they recently completed took them. This may or may not be how long your book takes. Yeah, good point. Tks!
  24. That escalated quickly... Serious question now though...What is the "cut off" date for books being under the longer TAT? For example, if I subbed books to CCS and they arrived in late December/Early January, would they be under the old TAT or the 'new' TAT'? Thank you.
