My "Star Wars" themed sub is back! the SW #42 is was mine that I had in my limited SW collection as was the 107. Another Canadian edition label notation missed - Might send it along with another shipment to get it fixed. That's it! Another one is supposed to be coming this week, not Star Wars though.

I recently replied to Jason's WTB thread and was able to help him out with some horror books he was looking for. Jason is a super nice guy to chat with and paid very promptly. Two Thumbs Up!

I LOVE seeing all the set ups here. I have always wanted to dabble but I only have so much extra $$$ to go around and comics always seem to win out be whenever I peak at this thread, I get the bug to just buckle down and get me some statues or even one. I always thought and still do think about building a "Spidey Shrine" though with with a mix of graded books and statues. Any recommendations for a good Spidey statue to start?????

I don't know where they have officially landed on that but I believe it is. There is a thread somewhere discussing the various price editions. In census I also think just noted by price edition not as Canadian.

That may be true but I doubt they would pay for the shipping there and back. I'm in Canada. Cheapest shipping back is like $60, so not really worth it. It is not that big a deal but I think in the future I will make a notation myself on the bag. Maybe that will help.

Assuming everything is on the up and up it's a solid trade for you. Xmen266 = $190 Flash = $235 (avg of 280 and 190) Total = $425 ASM40 = $350 (avg of 450 and 250) BA12 = $510 Total = $860 No idea why someone would trade you more than twice the value of your books. Hopefully he's not doing anything shady. THIS. However, I have had people trade for more b/c they either had doubles, etc. and didn't want to bother/hassle to sell themselves, but "giving up" double value (or more) seems excessive, especially when the books being traded for are readily available online. ...If it is on the up and up and it works out congrats in advance.

After the last trade fiasco, you think you would have learned a little... As Hamlet said, UXM #266 CGC 9.6 should be an EASY sell. Same with the Flash...Or pretty easy at least. If the idea is to MAKE MONEY and TURN OVER your books why dink around hoping to come up a few bucks on top? You have more time invested in these books now and more $$$ as I am assuming you pay for shipping your books to the other trader yes? Are you going to pay and wait to get another BA #12 graded too? Again, what if the BA #12 you get is not a 9.0 - Remember how you felt last time you felt led astray with a traders grades? Again, nothing new here...

Is that b/c you told your mom to shut up in one of your You Tube vids? In all seriousness, is there NO local resource that can help you land a job? I believe they are supposed to help with resume writing and such too...Just seems weird there is not a non-profit or other organization that can help you out with resume writing, presentation and other work and job hunting skills...

The comic shops that around me have wall books but every time I find something good they jack up the price and they say they can't budge on it any tips? Yes. Don't go there anymore. If they are jacking it up when you are asking about a book or when taking it to the counter and the price goes higher than what the sticker says, that is a move. HOWEVER, if they know you are a "flipper" they might be treating you a bit differently. Have you ever "irked" them before? Example - There is a known shady flipper guy in my home town and he is a individual_without_enough_empathy - He asked the owner for a bunch of books. Said he was trying to build a run (this is when he was still "new" to the area) then when the owner brought him all those books (out of storage), he only "picked" a few, the "keys" and said he changed his mind and didn't want the rest. There was a significant amount of books from what I was told too. ...After that, my LCS no longer lists variants for cover price and he started basically marking previously below FMV items up to FMV. Thankfully, I am on good terms and I am a long time customer but this one guy ruined it for a lot of others.

They might be able to help you develop your resume and find you placement/work if you are having trouble on your own.

How did you arrive at this number for the value of your inventory? Total Inventory $4709.97 I apologize if this has been answered already but it just looks like you just subtracted what you have sold to date from what you have spent... Are you certain your inventory "adds up" to being "worth" $4,709.97?

So, with that remaining stock you are $5,333.41 "in the hole"? How much profit do you hope to make off of your remaining inventory?

Oh sorry, I just wanted to show the best ones...Only 2 in the lot...Rest are regular DD's from around that era and a bit earlier. Agree though, I think TM is a sleeper of a book. Just wait till she shows up in the series...Love the cover too.
