Any other Showcases worth picking up? They have the whole run...for better or worse.

Got out of work early yesterday so stopped by my LCS. Not sure how he figured out my total since nothing was priced (and it seems like the system is different each time I go in), but found these for not a lot of money:

Larry's one of the hardest working guys in the business. He knows comics! He's an innovator and knows how to run a successful shop....whether it's his brick & mortar..online..or hittin' the road doing shows. He's a great guy to talk to and he looks out for other dealers. That's how you survive 25+ years. It's hard to please every person in this hobby,and chatboards like these have always got plenty of guys that just want to hate on people that are movers and shakers. If you are one of his customers or a dealer that has dealt with him you'd understand the guy would go out of his way in a heartbeat to help you out. Now,if I find out he has a sugar mama...I hope she has a sugar sista! Man! You're sweet.. Thanks Joey

And this has been happening for decades... It's not a new development. It's how business has been conducted in the direct market. Forever. Not all-of-a-sudden The sky isn't falling. The sky is the same. I don't doubt it; never did. Makes perfect sense: If you have X copies of a comic and only sell X-100, you still want to sell those other 100 copies. Just surprised the XM 600's are still not sold out; must have made a ton.

Well that Marvel variant sale explains why my LCS all-of-a-sudden had 100 copies of X-Men #600 variants. Sheesh.

Anyone here recently take a trip out near Romeoville, IL?

I've been asking him for my $100 every time he mentions Dr. Strange and/or 9.9's and/or Philly on-site. Always has a reason he did not submit those comics.

Comichron shows a ~90K sales for Deadpool #2, but only 26K for the Inhumans. Both are 1:100 variants, and hence the scarcity/$ they command. How does 2nC price the variants they get in ( not the Fried Pie ones)?

I have 10+ copies waiting on this one for awhile Finally Only 10? I've been collecting these for years as the cover is awesome; just wish I knew about this jump a week ago. May be too late now and will have to wait for the actor announcement. Nice; I'll see if I can get a group shot tonight. Never did find/buy the SMF copy. Looked at a few but never pulled the trigger. Will probably have to put that on hiatus for a couple-few years now.

LMK how the #8 turns out. Original Sin 8 raw just came today and it looks like a 9.8 to me. Why'd you ask? I sold one on ebay to the same username as yours; assumed it was more than a coincidence. Got ya! Yea more than happy with it! Do you have a kudos thread on here. I'd be happy to leave you positive kudos. Yeah, it's in my signature line.

Still look for the ASM 36 newsstand, but I never see it listed for normal Direct Edition price especially in a store. For me, all of Shadowman volume 3, aside from #1... I have never seen a single one in person. Also, Harbinger volume 1 #0 first print pink cover... haven't seen one of them in person in a good while. I just found a copy of Harbinger #0 Pink at a very small comic/toy show about a month ago. It's also signed by Layton, IIRC.
