I revisited my LCS with the DCU list and found a few more I thought worth picking up. But I really have no idea. Had to put back a Superboy 9 in bad condition.

It was a $46 purchase, already covered for $50 through USPS priority shipping. Didn’t seem necessary on that amount for signature as it’s already covered for damages and loss. If this guy goes through with any type of claim I will dispute. I probably would have tried to work with him if he didn’t immediately open a refund request when I did nothing wrong. Im any case he’s going on my blocked bidder list. Blocked another guy last week for being an ahole. I would quit eBay but it’s the only venue to get the right eyes on some of these non-key comics.

Just received a request from a buyer requesting a refund. He says the USPS tracking shows the package as delivered but he doesn’t have it. He says sometimes that happens and it shows up a day or two later but this time it’s been four days. Seems like something that should have been a message to me and not an immediate request for a refund. Also seems like once tracking says delivered my responsibility as a seller is done. And who’s to say it isn’t sitting in his lap as he asks for his money back? It was priority so there is basic insurance, but again, if the tracking says delivered how can I tell USPS it was lost?

And I would gladly take a copy of either of those issues.

It should get to VF with a press but I figured a bird in hand is worth two in the bush and all. I have another one as well. I try to price to sell, usually just at the bottom end of fmv. I would rather use that $50 (or $45 after fees) to buy more books that sit on it and get a little more. I do the same things with most of my books for pricing. On this book, however, I think it's still under-the-radar. I found 2 last weekend at my LCS's sale and they are usually picked over rather quickly. The rumor currently moving this book could be all garbage; I'm holding my copies for a "real" announcement. Yes, there will be more graded and for sale at that time, but there will also be a lot more buyers.

Uf! If that was a VF (or possibly better with a press), the buyer got a good deal.

I have the opportunity to purchase these two.

There is a tear/cut/rip on the spine which goes through the entire book. I asked the seller why he had it as a 3.0 b/c the scans looked good and he told me; I said he should add that to his description. I don't think he ever did.

No but how did I miss that one? Nice book. Well, it's not as nice as the basic front/back scans suggest. I have a feeling this one will be coming back to the seller.

I have seen Captain Britain #1 (UK) receive a green label for missing the mask. I have also seen posts saying the mask was never attached to/inside the comic itself and was merely inserted "loose" between the pages. In order to receive a blue/Universal label, does the mask indeed need to be attached inside or just included with the comic at the time of submission?
