  1. I also do not think sets should include slots for Newsstand Editions separately. If the indicia does not notate a difference then it shouldn’t have a separate slot IMHO. I’m all for the notation on the label but not for additional slots in the registry. This is now a slippery slope where the argument can be made to assign higher points for page quality and pedigree designation.

Has anyone seen a graded version of the error variant of the Platinum Superman 75?  If yes, I would love to see that image. I believe the error is that there is no serial number printed on the back cover.  Here's the comic book I'm talking about, courtesy of @glynn and son cgc graded comics

I have not. I didn’t even know there was such a thing. That’s a sharp looking copy.

MH's prices have lost any connection to reality. I occasionally check them as a sort of database for weird variants, newsstands, etc. although as this demonstrates, that's hardly reliable either.

I think what makes the prices worse is that they've absolutely got the worst grading of what is consider the "major" internet comic retailers. NM and VF aren't supposed to mean "Not Mint" and "Various Flaws"...

I’ve noticed Chuck flip flop on pricing explanations in a few YouTube videos. First he mentioned the prices were high to keep up with costs of running a store and paying employees, now it’s because he’s really a hoarder and has a hard time selling his stuff. :goodvsevil:

Is that a question?  Or? It's 1st Angela and was pretty abundant in grade for a book featuring a character that used to belong to Marvel but Todd got a hold of. The newsstand issue (of course doh!) helps sort out the abundant problem, but it's still an early 1st in the spawn series that is nice. Can be coin, but the story might not hit as hard as the 90s if not for future media? Or something lol

Maybe I’m more impressionable than I thought. I just watched this video recently.

    I’m also a noob on this drama…

And, it’s been in the back of mind for years to read Sandman….

I remember reading the bizarro world as a kid! Good times 😊

Funny sometimes the books we picked up and remember, I thought a guaranteed multiple issue of bizarro, with the numbers in world, was so cool! And it was at a time that I was sure to be able to get the following issue! :x

Nice! The Bizzarro’s Word issues were on the stands at book shops and magazine sections in the supermarket when I started getting my first Superman comics.
