I grew up in the 80s but was too young, I saw it on Netflix and decided to find out what I missed. Lol

The family guy clip is classic, I've tried to use gifs of it on the boards, but none capture to where anyone knows what I'm talking about. And a video, in most cases is to long etc. I'm rambling other than to sympathize and say,

    I hear you!

    Road House!

Fingh had a journal back then? I did not know that. I arrived a few years later to witness his rapier wit in threads and try to glean whatever I could from his extensive knowledge of SS books.

He did not have a journal, but he did comment on some of them at times. This was probably 2012 to 2014 if I remember correctly. I had a journal then also but I never experienced any of the rapier wit in any of my entries.

I just had one graded, CGC mislabeled it as just issue #1. I submitted as Bram Stoker’s Dracula TPB, noting the variant as Previews Exclusive on my invoice, now the book is back at CGC as a ME. I’ll be anxious to see what they decide to call this.

CGC finished the Mechanical Error review today, no changes were made.

If you haven't seen Infinity War and Endgame, you'll have no F-ing clue what's going on. lol

That said, I have to recommend that you take a break, and eventually get to Infinity War. I would say that it's objectively the best MCU film if it wasn't for a few others like The Winter Soldier.

If you don't really like any of the movies that much? Maybe you won't be impressed by Infinity War, and you're just done? I can respect that, too.

I liked Winter Soldier a lot actually. I was also surprised at how good the first Iron Man was way back in 2008.

Yeah, I burned out. I can only take so much campy dialogue, in your face attitude and special effects porn. Perhaps that comes with transitioning into middle age? :preach:

  5. I watched a lot of the Marvel movies in recommended order over release order on Disney+ in 2020/21, then ran out of steam after Black Panther. I enjoyed most of them but never really understood the hype, as in how people rave at how great they are, and how each release breaks opening day box office records. Don’t get me wrong, a lot of these are fun movies but I’m like, “are they really that good?!”

I concur with the previous comments about the over saturation of streaming content. I am so far behind now that I just don’t have in me to even try and get back into this. I was invited to go to the last Dr. Strange and then Wakanda Forever by a group of friends but I told them both times I couldn’t make it. I really could have gone but I was afraid I’d be lost because I hadn’t kept up with the previous films.

I don't understand, if the TPB collects #1-4 how could it come out before issue #1? Is it the word "previews"? That's not a description of the book, that's the name of the monthly order catalog from Diamond.

    This.

Also more along the lines of Man of Steel Raffle Edition TPB that has the collected 1-4 bound under 1 cover . It was released before the first TPB , but not prior to issues 1-4.

I forgot to compare this to the Man of Steel Raffle Edition! As to my presumption if it came out before issue #1, it could be possible that Topps had these ready to go before October 1992? There was also a second printing of issue #1, so if this Previews Edition were release afterwards, maybe it would have had the second printing inside, assuming Topps used leftover inventory to put this together? However, it does make sense that this was released after the four issues were sent to comic shops. I still don’t know, I was only speculating.
