  1. TWD 9.8 x2! Def wasn't me, but damn sure wish it was! I I was gonna bid, but the lint in my pocket told me not to... by lint in my pocket I really mean "my wife would've neutered me!" Same tactic can be applied when thinking about buying a new sports car before asking.
  2. WD 100 regular cover a had both Negan and Lucille. Cover a;s have time proven history over second prints.
  3. Eastman's shirt had a turtle too, with the slogan "Save the Terrapins." Also last week a turtle bit the dust as well. This show is rough on the animals.
  4. How about Lost.. What a waste of time that was Lost was entertaining. Critics are multiplying like Gremlins.
  5. Who really cares? Relax, sit back, and enjoy the ride.
  6. That never stopped someone from reading a book with only one edition or a short story, or even a one shot comic. IMHO it's a bit silly to avoid reading a great anything with unbelievably incredible artwork just because of "uncertainty" regarding the book's future. H.G. Wells is dead and buried, so is Leo Tolstoy and Mark Twain.....just because we can't look forward to new material from those folks is not a justifiable reason to never open their great works. But in spite of all that you're definitely entitled to your opinion and position. Having said that, you really are missing out if you don't pick up a copy regardless of the book's future. One important caveat to point out. Those authors are dead, Fabian is not and will return .
  7. The way he's screaming they'll keep biting on him next plus he's covered in blood its like attracting a swarm of mosquitoes to him. With that many walkers around one body being torn to shreds will not delay them IMO.
  8. Think it was 70-75 k on the first print #1. I don't think that is over the top considering millions watch cinemax and when you throw Kirckman high quality tv show in the mix collectors and non collectors will be all over this one. Maybe not like WD but it'll pay off dividends nonetheless. Every week I meet at least 1 person who watches WD faithfully and never knew it was a comic first, or that there is a comic at all. I guess they know every inch of the episodes except for the Kirkman / Adlard credits? I bought plenty of Outcast #1 when it came out and I hope the show does well. I don't see it ever cracking $30 raw, but I've been wrong before Looks like the prices are higher than 30 for a NM at mycomicshop already and the show hasn't aired yet. We'll see soon I guess. https://www.mycomicshop.com/search?TID=25730420

  10. I don't think there is anything wrong with cinemax and a quality show. The skinamax you are talking about it late night and showtime, hbo has had stuff like that for years. Outcast is going to be high quality with Kirkman involved and locked up for the whole season I don't think there is much to worry about.
  11. Be careful with that candle and paper....you'll burn up that nice picture!
  12. (thumbs u Thanks for letting us know its just on a break and Fabian will return eventually with gusto!
  13. Any news? I want more Five Ghosts
  14. I like this considerably more than dying by a dumpster. (thumbs u And they said the soap opera was dead. Who knows maybe we'll see zombie Glen at the gates and Maggie yells out I'll do it myself but before she opens the gates Negan smashes him to a pulp with Lucille..
  15. Not from a guy that was just alive. Like swimming with the sharks wearing a steak suit. He's covered in blood while it might not be his yet they will keep biting. He's surrounded and even if he could scramble past a few legs he's in a alley blocked by walls on both sides and a gate with bard wire in front.
  16. I don't think there is any room to doubt what happened to him.
  17. Which important mechanical element is in the side panel of an RV? He was shooting at a downward angle spraying that last gun but its possible either ricochets from shooting inside the vehicle ruptured something. Next time Rick leave it running
  18. I'm guessing they took some food from the storeroom as Carl's house wasn't broken into during the raid.
  19. He did however didn't consider that spraying the vehicle like that might not be a good idea for it to start again.
  20. Who would have thought spraying a machine gun off randomly in the side of a RV would make it not start correctly. Rick is priceless.
  21. MCS approves this message Crossing fingers for all those holders of 9.8's that it'll be a decent show, AOS sure didn't see much price bumps and its been on several seasons. Bitter? Nope I'm a realist. Factor in its netflix sure it'll have fans but I'm still not convinced these paid services trump basic cable tv shows right now in ratings. Maybe I'm too old and can't think outside the box enough. I liked Daredevil and binge watched them but it kinda kills the hype when the whole season is there on debut day IMO. These "paid services" 100% trump basic tv. What show still has raving reviews and is superior in quality ? Yup Daredevil...the show lots of people binged watched on its debut and are continuing to. A.O.S. hasn't seen much of a price bump in the comics because the show is mediocre and low on the quality barometer. What drives prices on comics is buzz and quality. The difference is the "buzz" isn't constant when the whole season is there to me. There really wasn't much discussion with my friends after each of us watched Daredevil. However shows that are weekly like Gotham, Strain, AOS has much more discussion in my groups of friends even casual conversations with people. I watched Daredevil over one weekend,,,,it was cool but after that it was a bit of a letdown to me, over too fast and a long wait till the next season. Ask yourself how many paid services are people really willing to spend over basic cable stations? You got Netflix, Amazon, HBO, Cinemax, Showtime & there go paid services. Add all those up and it is more expensive than a basic cable package. When 50 percent of Americans make less than 30 k a year and that is before taxes, add their cost of living plus family expenses cutting these paid extras are occurring whether that is promoted or not. I'm in my 40s. I work with 20 year olds. Many of them watched and wanted to talk about Daredevil. And they are average "kids". Not comics nerds I just pictured you as a DJ in a gentlemens club. "Next on stage...Electra!" I really liked Daredevil, thought is was done extremely well and maybe better than Gotham yet I enjoy Gotham more. Just can't tell if it's due to being more of a DC fan or how it involves a great deal more characters compared to DD. I like daredevil more and I'm a DC fan I think Gotham is too corny and I hate Jada pinkett in it. It has good moments, but I always just want to see batman doing some batmaning when I watch it You should be watching this season then.
