  1. Is there any site or resource that keeps track of what artists will be at what con?
  2. Anybody know what these are from? Got em with an order a while ago, and have no idea.
  3. New coupon. Good for the next 7 hours. Up to 100 bucks off.
  4. Got a new ebay coupon. Thought I’d share.
  5. https://comics.ha.com/itm/original-comic-art/arthur-adams-monsters-unleashed-v2-1-midtown-comics-exclusive-variant-cover-x-men-original-art-marvel-2017-/a/7187-93004.s?ic4=GalleryView-Thumbnail-071515 You’d think the ebay listing would be taken down. At least the damage is noted on Heritage. https://www.ebay.com/itm/ART-ADAMS-Monsters-Unleashed-1-cover-Uncanny-X-Men-team-vs-Kirbys-Gigantus/392019483389?_trkparms=aid%3D111001%26algo%3DREC.SEED%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D51378%26meid%3D645af153ab374aaab0306546530a712f%26pid%3D100675%26rk%3D1%26rkt%3D10%26sd%3D392019483389%26itm%3D392019483389&_trksid=p2481888.c100675.m4236&_trkparms=pageci%3A347d0790-436f-11e8-a135-74dbd1802c4f|parentrq%3Adb78db2d1620ab6bacfc628afffe8e7b|iid%3A1
  6. Can’t wait for this to come out... https://13thdimension.com/exclusive-sienkiewicz-artifact-edition-coming-this-summer/
  7. New Mutants 40 pg 18 sold on Heritage 2/24/18 for 549.70 https://comics.ha.com/itm/original-comic-art/jackson-butch-guice-and-kyle-baker-new-mutants-40-story-page-18-avengers-original-art-marvel-1986-/a/7177-93568.s?ic4=GalleryView-Thumbnail-071515 Now on eBay for 755 https://www.ebay.com/itm/1986-Marvel-New-Mutants-40-Page-18-Avengers-Original-Art-Signed-Jackson-Butch/312090491510?_trkparms=pageci%3Ae4205136-2b93-11e8-8c64-74dbd180a2ea|parentrq%3A3f1ff6b81620aa12a948e504fff5e22a|iid%3A1&_trksid=p2481888.c100678.m3607 Seems pretty minimal return after Heritage shipping and NY sales tax, and the eBay cut.
  8. http://www.comiclink.com/auctions/item.asp?back=%2FAUCTIONS%2FSEARCH.ASP%3FFocusedOnly%3D1%26where%3Dauctions%26title%3DNew%2Bmutants%26GO%3DGO%26ItemType%3DCA%23Item_1238210&id=1238210&itemType=1 I know New Mutants stuff has been going up, but wow.
  9. I’m loving the scanner. I’ve been slowly updating all my CAF scans, and the 11x17 prints it makes are great.
  10. I tried ordering twice in the past. First time took a month with several follow ups to finally get the items not available. Second time I got a response in two days, but item still not available. I stopped looking after that.
  11. It's really only worth going IMO if they have a good show at the time. The Kevin Eastman one a while back was nice. I'm more excited about the comic con museum opening at Balboa Park.
  12. Thanks delekkerste for posting. Went and picked one up today, and it won't take up any more room than the printer and flatbed (that wasn't 11x17) that I already had.
  13. Correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't the glicees basically just canvas prints? Paying 24K for a signed print seems bonkers. By original comic art, he means art that was used in the production of a comic. The actual art, not a print. Hell, for the money you're willing to spend you could even get an insane commission from the comic artist of your choice. but yeah, I'd stay away from that canvas collection.
  14. Honestly, I can probably think of two. But he's in my bottom 3.
  15. Yep. BWS has done some amazing stuff. In the realm of NM, I felt his stuff was some of the weakest of all artists on the title.
  16. Tracking in. Def a few pieces I'm surprised are as high as they are already.
  17. I wish CAF would do something like the cgc registry does, where if a piece is in your collection you can get it removed from someone else's collection. Or even better get it removed from a dealers CAF page. I'd pay double the premium I already pay to not see the same piece in 5 different galleries or inquiring on a piece that sold 10 years ago.
  18. I signed up for premium shortly after I joined CAF. It's no more or less than everything else I pay for, like Hulu, Netflix, pandora, etc... and I'm probably on it more each day. I guess I can see not wanting to spend the money if you're spending less than maybe 1K a year on OA. That's a significant percentage of your budget gone. By if you're spending a decent amount monthly or annually on OA, to me it's a reasonable cost to accentuate my enjoyment of the hobby.
  19. Ehh, the ones that are more reasonably priced go quick. But every year there are tickets up on craigslist day before/ day of. If you have the time just check several times a day right before the event. If you can wait til last minute, a lot of times you can get badges for cheap from all the scalpers that were trying to make a killing, couldn't sell, and now just don't want to lose money. It might be easier since I'm local and don't have to worry about hotels and such, but I've been shut out of online reg for the last 3/4 years, and still managed to get badges every year.
  20. The best ones to look for on Craigslist are the ones that go up a few days before the event, that say you can register them in your own name. Convention center employees (and a few others) get codes that are good for a day. You go to the SDCC website, put in the code, pick the day and pick up your badge the morning of. All legit, and it qualifies you to do pre registration the following year if you weren't able to buy tickets during early or geneneral. Just verify what days the seller has before you commit. If they have 3 day codes and one has already been used for say Friday, their other two codes wouldn't work on Friday, they can only be used on the remaining days available.
  21. Well, I PMed you 3 days ago, but you never responded.
