  1. ...and if you think that is "a lot" in a 9.8, star wars 1 has just under 800. -J.
  2. Come on. Everybody knows that J. Scott Campbell is the sole reason this character has spiked as it has over the recent years. -J.
  3. I did (try) to watch thunder force with a buddy. We got 15 minutes in and turned it off. You're right , it was horrendous. But it's a Netflix movie so I hold it to a much lower standard than I do patty Jenkins and James Gunn. -J.
  4. What , no wonder woman 84 or the suicide squad? I actually thought WW1984 was one of the worst things I've ever seen. A ridiculous, inexcusable train wreck. -J.
  5. ...or Feige actually is panicking a little after seeing the disastrous theatrical results of the schlock he put out this year (not counting spider-man, of course, which I credit to Sony). -J.
  6. Who, exactly, said that ? Scott Mendelson at Forbes? -J.
  7. And how are your eternals, black widow , and shang-chi books doing ? -J.
  8. Looks like Gallo just sold a 3.0 for 25k on ebay. That puts another support beam under the 60k 5.0 sale and makes it further look like the buyer of the comicconnect 5.5 got a great deal at just the right time. -J.
  9. But in the interim a 0.5 sold for 7500 and a 2.5 sold for 16k. That's in addition to the blockbuster 9.0 sale. So either the 5.5 buyer got a helluva deal right before a huge spike or the 5.0 buyer overpaid. -J.
  10. The 5.0 just sold for 60k on heritage. So yeah, somebody definitely just got a killer deal on the 5.5 on comicconnect. Maybe the sale of the 9.0 juiced this auction. -J.
  11. So a 5.0 about to go for more than a 5.5 from a few days ago (?) -J.
  12. Does that include the 15% "buyers premium "?? -J.
  13. So we are talking about Vancouver? Or Rochester NY? -J.
  14. Despite the attempted media spin, 375MM on a 180MM all in ain't nothing to write home about. Venom, on the other hand , has been an unmitigated commercial success , no spin needed. And no know cares about the Oscars or Oscar winning cartoons. -J.
  15. Uh yeah let's see how that next cartoon and morbius pan out first lol. -J.
  16. Yeah I don't know about that 7.0. The 5.5 in the same auction will have to go for around $100k for me to really believe that as a legit price point. I mean I get the 6.5 on comiclink probably took a hit because of the hideous and unverified Stan Lee signature all across the bottom , but still... -J.
  17. Maybe the discount theaters will help this bomb crawl across 400MM after all. -J.
  18. It does have that unsightly scrawl across the bottom, not even verified, but it was otherwise well centered , no marvel chipping , nice presenting book, if you can overlook the unsightly scrawl all along the bottom. -J.
  19. I'm talking about the "Stan Lee tailor" 6.5 that just sold at auction on comic link a couple days ago. -J.
  20. "Conserved" and married. Isn't that like , what , about 25% blue label value? -J.
  21. No it isn't good ? Or no it isn't cheap ?
  22. Whomever got the 6.5 on comiclink a couple days ago got a hell of a "deal". -J.
