    Thank you for the explanation. China notwithstanding, it looks like this thing may actually get to within p!ssssssssing d!stance of the first one, Corona or no Corona. Never thought I'd say this but Disney should take note on sonys strategy with this series. You don't need to spend 150MM-250MM on these things, and it's looking increasingly like you better not , without the China money anymore. Guess all that Hollywood pandering to them was for naught. -J.

    Dude seriously I never said any of that (except that it's theatrical box office was garbage, which it was). I did say that hell would have to freeze over for Warner to actually make another Shazam movie. But that was before they foolishly rushed through a sequel to suicide squad, so now the capacity of Warner to squander money on certain failure no longer comes as a surprise to me. -J.

    Um. I never said aquaman didn't make money. Going back 3+ years now to find something positive to say about Warner movies ? Sounds about right. Also, nobody actually cares about "oscar winning" cartoons, (or the Oscar's in general at this point) and I never said spider-verse was "garbage" either. (I did maybe say it's theatrical gross was garbage however, which it was.) -J.

You do need to go back over 2 years to find something Warner had to crow about, don't you? 1)"Joker" is expressly NOT part of the DCEU. 2) After the abominations that were Turds of Prey, WW84 and suicide squad, Warner is no longer playing even with the house money that Joker likely afforded them at their flop-making factory. 3) Care to revisit your predictions about the first Venom? -J.

    Interesting. I guess this explains the massive run on all of the CGC graded copies of Destroyer Duck on ebay over the last couple of days. Not one 9.8 copy available though. -J.

    The 6.5 looks somewhat underwhelming to me because of the marvel chipping and pre-chipping on the cover and the cream/tan looking cover (this , despite the seemingly excellent "ow/w" "pq" on the label. ) -J.

    And this is still a horrific misunderstanding/misreading of even the dictionary definition. We won't even get into the horrific misunderstanding/misreading of the definition as it relates colloquially to comic books. -J.

    Shang. Chi had no real competition for WEEKS. Eternals barely held off Clifford for #1 in week 2. Plus, if I'm not mistaken, Disney rolled this out in nearly all of its international markets already. Also, audiences will have even more adult/kid options in the next 2 weeks, then the Oscar-bait movies will start. Eternals basically had 2 weeks to make its move, and it did. I don't think it hits 400MM either, but even if it does squeak past that, it's still a failure. -J.

    It might be testing its limits at $6‐7k, but I don't see it going below ~$4k, if it does cool off at some point. Black cat hasn't even had her big screen debut yet but she has been teased. -J.

    Of course not. But a first appearance of a character with a rapidly growing fanbase in the core ASM run is about as bulletproof as you can get. Prices will ebb and flow no but what's the long term trend looking like. -J.
