Had to bail out on izombie today guys. Couldn't even make it through the second episode. Deleted from the DVR's season pass. Just wasn't for me. -J.

Not sure if that's a legit sale considering there are copies on eBay $50 less. This is a better deal but the only 1 I could find like it in current listings. I've not seen them under $199 since early February. It wouldn't bother me if they fell to the floor this year. I'm buying not selling. Sketchy ebay "buy it nows" that appear to be popped at exorbitant prices when there are numerous other copies readily available for less that are not selling always make me go -J.

Looks like it was legit and a heck of a deal. how can you tel if a deal is legit or not? it will show up on gpa? "Non regular comic book seller", or however it's phrased, sales that still at least "appear" legit but extraordinarily low are usually speared out from the regular data points. -J.

It was definitely the false movie rumour. Hence why the book has retreated since that rumour was debunked. Bringing Miles in to the 616 is a neat thing to do but it is hardly a "watershed moment" that will define a generation that would make anyone care about this book more than before. It was the false rumour that did that. -J.

You missed the money train for UF4 by a few weeks to a month because moderns are a fickle market. But you may cash in when it circles back around again Unbag. Press. Submit. 9.8 is still a 100-150 book Last 7 sales in 9.8. Still seems like a good book return on slabbed hg copies. $335 $200 $165 $150 $115 $120 $148 That is all attributed to that false rumour of Miles being "the next Spider-Man" in the MCU. Once that was debunked the book reverted back to its prior form. Icing the book until at least secret wars comes out may not be a bad play. -J.

Seems to me if someone is (now suddenly because of a movie appearance) an early Aquaman "key" collector, the books to have are Adventure 260 and BB 28. Despite all the requisite ebay mis-information and carnival barking Showcase 30 is not an important book (from a substantive point of view) and is superfluous. -J. I would not characterize Showcase 30 as superfluous. It is certainly a key because DC is testing out the Aquaman character in his own full-length book for the first time ever. I think it's fair to assume that a lot of kids in 1959 didn't get around to reading the back-up feature in Adventure 260 where Aquaman's origin was tinkered with, so Showcase 30 on those spinner racks targeted and won over a lot of readers. In addition, Showcase 30 is published about a year after the launch of the revamped Green Lantern, one month before the launch of the revamped Hawkman, and a few months before the launch of the revamped Atom. Historically speaking, the book comes at a critical point in time during DC's superhero rebirth. I would buy into this logic a little more if BB 28 and his and the JLA's other multiple appearances in the BB run hadn't preceded it, and by such a significant amount of time. And the mere fact that it's part of the "Showcase" run is not, in and of itself, enough to make it a "key". Cool book, cool cover, yes. But Showcase 30 is not a key IMO. -J.

This book was still going in the $800 range prior to the requisite movie hype taking hold. Then one randomly high "erroneous" mycomicshop sale via ebay for $1,690 (now removed from GPA) really got the speculator bubble rolling. -J.

If you have the chance to to go a full weekend show with onsite grading, you should wait and do it that way I hear they're not as free wheeling with the on-site grading as they once appeared to be. -J.

Link ? I'm not seeing that one. The last one I see is an eBay sale (natch) for $1735- which is still about $1,000 more than what the book is actually "worth" IMO. -J.

+1 And it would be one thing if any of them were actually "new" and/or "different" characters. These just seem like superfluous minority knock-offs of the "real" characters. -J.

I was the winner of the botched 6.0 auction then they relisted it, i was the 2nd underbidder on the retried auction but my conclusion was that whoever wanted that 6.0 was gonna pay big bucks but in hindsight im happy it turned out that qay b/c gonna show my new big boy on friday when it arrives Mmmmmm...this should be good. That was a pretty blue label 6.0 on CC too though. -J.

Guess I'm in the minority on this one. I didn't like it and thought it was way, way too much like the far superior Pushing Daisies (at least the first season). I could see this getting repetitive and old very quick. -J.

I'm really surprised that this book isn't moving more. In a lot of ways it still seems under valued. -J.
