  1. Is that last characters name Ardeth? Is that short for something? Never heard that name before. Clearly she was the Vilma of the group
  2. why is the fastest guy the furthest one back?
  3. I see this usually happen with people who are only buyers, never sellers. They have zero idea what problems they cause when they nitpick any rating they can find. Easier to block them than to deal with gambling your ratings. THe best are people who send you a note first with some crazy question-- you get a chance to review their feedback and block them preventive. Found one of those today, although it was for a Wheaties cereal box that they wanted to be sure was a 10/10 perfect. Who can guarantee that nonsense? ...Apparently this person does sell...I have blocked them but I am tempted to message them and ask WHY. I won't though. I decided to check too...The defect is still up on my dashboard...Just hoping it is taking a bit of time to correct in eBay's system? If not gone by tomorrow afternoon, I will have to call them back... you should be patient with getting that removed or irony will ensue

  5. Yes, they are oversized and from 1975 & 1976. I do not have the one on the right! But Christmas is coming! what about these?
  6. this is the 4th time i sell that item . 1st time $110 , 2nd time $100 3rd #$137 (for some reason last buyer didn´t use best offer) now the price is $135 best offer so its in the price range Making an $8 offer for a $135 item is an insult so users like vikescomics who behaves like that are blocked from my list I have ethe auto reject and its good but when a buyer goes to my items and see i rejected 3 offers they can think i am a difficult seller and that´s not good for business... How can someone see this information? I've never seen it on any listing with a rejected offer - let alone now how to see someone has any offer. Pretty sure the only person who can see this is the seller-- but please share how someone could see it otherwise as I would like to know how to see this if it is possible. Also-- I personally would not read anything into how many rejected offers there were even if I could see this information. unless they just changed it , you can see the offers (not the amount but the number of offers) as a buyer I didn't know or notice that-- do you have an example you can point to?

  8. except as he said in his reply-- there are not many cartridges-- just the boxes and overlays/instructions. Those items will sell but not as easily as CIB versions. I've been listing three games CIB that even have cartridges-- but the cartridges tested as faulty/won't load game-- and they have been hard to find a buyer. It is similar to trying to find someone needing to marry pages of a comic in that regard. What is cool is when you find you have a game like Imagic's Dracula - which was rare even back when it came out. I had a nice bidding war start up when i sold that one about a year ago.
  9. happened across this one today--- probably not a key clearly but this cover is really odd
  10. yes-- that clears it up quite a bit. I was a little confused not having seen the earlier stuff in copper. Thanks !
  11. precisely the reason I would never chance having any good comics set out during a garage sale. I might even cringe if they were readers. It is so opposite to how we all treat our books.
  12. classic finger press technique -- I don't blame you for not taking the items out of the box yourself-- who knows what is in there (human remains?). But the extra damage that guy was doing had to be alarming. If I saw someone doing that to my copy, I would would probably tackle them.
  13. Are you only referring to the availability aspect of these issues? The way it reads (easiest to hardest), it is almost like you are saying reprint issues are more valuable than original issues. That makes sense perhaps from a population perspective (with original issue having huge runs comparatively)- but as a collector, I would value an original over a reprint typically. I am sort of confused by what point this post is trying to convey- if it has something to do with value.
  14. I read it as $85 -- $30 in tolls for the return trip. Still a major bargain. And what a cool selection of books with pre-hero, early DD, ASM 16, FF 10, Hulk, TOS, TTA, and on and on...
  15. if only Matt Murdock were a tax attorney.... Is it possible for someone who was charged tax incorrectly by a business to recover it from the taxing entity?
  16. it seems odd that some kid would want an encapsulated book.
  17. well that one reminds me of ASM 16 and to a lesser extent ASM 10
  18. just so we know-- what was the book he was after?
  19. ASM 16 has always bothered me-- the way Spider-man is contorted just looks strange to me. also-- the floating head in X-Men 94 is weird too.
  20. what about how clumsy Robin is while decorating a Christmas tree? I think Batman is drawn oddly as well. but I put that up there for the Christmas tree. It was hard to find a key that I found truly "ugly" - even the poorly drawn ones have a certain charm built in to them.
  21. when I saw the title, I thought this would be about showing a key book you own that is in pretty rough condition. but in the spirit of this thread (though perhaps not exactly a true "key")----
