  1. I knew if I held onto these slow sellers for enough decades eventually they would be collectible or hyped:
  2. For me, there were about 3 tear jerker moments whether it was a sad or happy family scene. First 2/3 of End Game a bit slow (as others have posted) but I was surprised at how the directors did a good job tieing together up to 20 different heroes/heroines and their film stories (e.g. Ancient One).
  3. Please offer me this kind service next time I visit Calgary Expo. Was attendance around 80k or down due to the AB 'recession' and blizzard conditions on the weekend? Was greggy satisfied buying $2 comics from Clobberin' Time?
  4. Due to the expansion in square footage of the hall, will comic or art vendors no longer be restricted to 2 dealer's tables each ?
  5. I sometimes trade my vf overstock for used LP's and soundtracks at the record warehouse. He likes vf/vf+ nice shape Independent press and DC overstocked comics from 30 years ago boom and bust.
  6. Did not see any in BC, Canada. Darn. Nice collectible for Marvel zombies.
  7. The majority of the Mister Woo high grade SA Marvel collection that was slabbed by Voldy came from an original owner who was vending at a Portland, OR comicon. This included the early ASM and Silver Surfer runs. I believe the high grade early FF's from this vendor (who has since retired in Australia) where grabbed at that same comicon by a large mail order dealer from Castlerock, WA.
  8. I have never seen such a reasonably priced HUGE 11' x 11' vendor's booth for only $75.
  9. Strange marketing: 'First app. of your mom.' Enjoy the 20 cm of snow this weekend. Watch out for the high winds, and don't accidentally put 1 of Andy thirdgreenham's orange color coded CGC slab boxes into the Clobberin' Time van. ha ha.
  10. Try to visit painter Joe Jusko and other comic artist/inkers in the Big 4 Bldg for sigs, as I heard they did not have a line up. Guess fans lining up for Avengers: End Game movie or shopping in main Calgary expo hall first. Hope you and greggy were able to score some choice comics. Mister Woo almost hit 3 deer/caribou outside of Golden on his drive home to Vancouver, BC.
  11. Is that joeypost with the dark hoodie on freezing in a real Canadian winter ... indoors? Sounds like a wonderful con so far with more energy than Fan Expo Vancouver.
  12. Can't recall if this is from Flash Comics #2 or #4. Think #4 was 1st interior Hawkman art by Moldoff per Overstreet.
  13. About 2 years ago, I stayed at a hotel across from casino in Fife, WA which is south of Seattle. Complimentary basic breakfast, free parking; think it was still about $100 US/night. Puyallup good for getting quality sigs on vintage comics or Amazing World of DC mags.
  14. Do smaller mom and pop comic vendors sell there? I don't see a link for the cost of a vendor's booth: 8' x 8' or 10' x 10'. I like the design of the Puyallup blue gate hall. Lots of parking across the street.
  15. Not quite as good as 'Black Panther' movie for me but Shazam had a lot of heart, and a solid young family cast of actors. Glad Calgary expo got 3 of the lead Shazam cast actors for sigs. Also for those that are about to see the movie, there is an extra clip after the credits that foreshadows Shazam II movie plot.
  16. Tarzan in New York (top) to save budget instead of filming jungle scenes?
  17. Let me know if anyone can translate these Tarzan titles:
  18. Bottom Tarzan lobby card en Espanol (?) based on a painted Dell cover:
  19. Add Edmonton, AB train stop but I imagine no further north distribution due to lower population of towns in 1938.
  20. I would imagine that Action #1 would have been distributed to all the mag shops and newsstands in Western Canada railway stations like Winnipeg, Calgary, and Vancouver, BC, etc.
  21. access la Banque du greggy when in Canada.
  22. I have this DC treasury Whiz nn stat front cover art, no back cover, that may be available for sale. Pmail me an offer, if interested:
