  1. Then my top left cover pic is of Tec #15 coverless, not # 14.
  2. Top left is coverless Tec #14 then Tec #15 that has Action Comics #1 b/w ad. Open issue is coverless Tec #12 that has 2 nice Siegel and Shuster stories. Could have sworn I have a coverless Tec #10 but can't find it in storage.
  3. I quite enjoy reading 2 early Siegel and Shuster stories from 1 issue of pre-hero Detective Comics while I am on the throne:
  4. Sorry, that is the way your name is spelled in Canada. Electronic Arts gaming seems to have enough support to increase their eSports gaming tournament from 32 up to 64 teenage participants at St. Thomas More Collegiate Comics and Collectibles show: eSports gaming, Burnaby Extra advertising and posters up at UBC anime, SFU anime, BC Institute of Tech campus, and Douglas College anime clubs. Depending on budget, will try to target market local Facebook paid ads to comic, toy collector/vendors.
  5. Since San Francisco /Berkeley is a high tech area, are you paying for Facebook ads to promote and grow your convention? If so, I would be interested in what key words you are using to target your collector base? e.g. comics, comic books, Avengers, Captain Marvel, X-men, Spider-man, graphic novel, collectibles, Batman, Star Wars and ...?
  6. Fanboy saw Umbrella Academy cosplayers. I did not see VintageComics Roy running around Thurs as he must have been in his ninja stealth mode.
  7. I wonder if that means we should leave 'Walking Dead' comics and graphic novels at home? fyi, just heard of new Geektopia Vancouver one (1) day con Sat. July 6, 2019 at Plaza of Nations (ex-casino) where 6' table costs an aggressive $350 in an 8' x 8' booth. Also, Fan Expo Vancouver in Feb, 2020 will run Sat, Sun. to MONDAY Family Day. Van Comic Show will be about 2 weeks after that (early March, 2020) at PNE Forum.
  8. Is the Pog exhibit in the Big 4 building? Hope not for the sake of Clobberin' Time and Citadel Comics.
  9. Think the Venom movie logo comic was just distributed in USA so nada in Canada.
  10. I have not seen Harley up here yet unless you meant he drove down to Vancouver, WA instead of Canada.
  11. Thanos88 thought I was on crack wasting my time buying Wilbur Katy Keene's instead of high grade ASM (ho hum, so common). Much better for buying at this ECCC than 3 years ago when greggy scooped up most of the 'good stuff' the last time I was here:
  12. Across the aisle was shock and AWE when I saw oversized early Jumbo Comics at Bel-Kirk Stamp and Coin:
  13. Reasonable GA pricing at Elite Comics plus 1/2 price SA, BA, MA bins too:
  14. Was surprised to see Stv Duin who drove up from Portland, OR near Hauser's booth. Forumites Jeff and Eric had some choice Schombourgs and other GA from a new collection at Elite Comics # 2823:
  15. Neal Adams had a huge booth in the Artist Alley hall:
  16. Is this in Washington, DC or near Seattle, WA? Please specify in heading.
  17. St. Thomas More's student artist alley may be moved to the foyer, if they sell out of all vendor's tables. There appears to be a cafe open upstairs 2nd floor for those hungry at this Saturday Collectibles show. South gym where most dealer's will be loading in from:
  18. 10 minute walk from Edmonds skytrain station. Free street parking with no residential 3 hour parking restriction signs. Pic of north half of gym:
  19. Diamond breakfast open to retailers and their sidekick as each store got 2 tix invite.
  20. For vendors, the primary loading zone is wheel chair accessible, thus good for hand trucks from the southwest corner of the gyms. Per the dealer instructions, vendors will have to move their vehicles and park for free in the surrounding neighborhood that Saturday. This leaves the 3 surrounding FREE parking lots available for attendees and the handicapped. I believe Canadian Comics.net will also have 3 wall tables there. More comics vendors to be announced. Admission is $4 to support their library.
  21. Inaugural annual Knights Comics and Collectibles Expo on Saturday April 13, 2019 held at St. Thomas More Collegiate in Burnaby, a suburb of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Up to 80 x 8' dealer's tables full of recent and vintage comics, graphic novels, toys, some used DVD's, vinyl LP's, and local talent artist alley. My buddy's son graduated from this high school and they are raising funds to renovate their library. I will be part of the 'Comic Adventures' team that will have five (5) wall tables full of reasonably priced back issues, some graphic novels, $1-2 blow out bins, My Little Pony items, and some used vinyl records. Promotion by the St. Thomas More Parent's Association and co-sponsored by eSports electronic gaming tournament. More info and to reserve a vendor's table for $55 or less at new St. Thomas More Collectibles Expo, Burnaby Pic of the front entrance. Right hand side will lead to the side by side 2 gyms that will hold this pop culture show geared towards high school families and potentially new collector/fans:
  22. dearest thirdgreenham, I may be starting a new job, thus in training Apr, 2019 so will be unable to see your smiling face, as you accept greggy's sack of US greenbacks for your under priced raw 9.4 semi-keys that will be 'potentialized.'
  23. There is a Diamond Comics retailers's breakfast Thursday morning 8 a.m. at ECCC. I will be at the con for Thursday only. Have a safe drive.
  24. fyi, J Anacleto will be signing and selling artwork at Seattle, WA's Emerald City comic-con next week. 4 day con along with Neal Adams, Rob Liefeld, etc.
  25. I liked some of the slower scenes with flashbacks, humor and 1980s music. Nice plot twist towards the end. Was there a post-credit trailer clip I was supposed to stay for?
