  1. @Bronty fyi, the Pacific National Exhibition (PNE) has a History of Video Games exhibit in the former Rollerland(?) building in Vancouver, BC. Quite well attended by families.
  2. * bump *. Almost finished bagging and boarding. About to put gas in the van for the road trip to Kelowna Expo. Hopefully, no wildfire smoke like last summer.
  3. Not sure about that. The recalled (beer) error cover on Action Comics #869 is raw Overstreet nm $85. The replacement copies basically had the same front cover but changed what Clark Kent/Superman was drinking to be labelled 'soda pop.'
  4. Great writing in Superman #14 where the LSH travels back in time to meet the House of El. Good art too. I assume the initial print run on Supergirl #33 was lower than Superman #14?
  5. I guess that is why Western Canada (Vancouver, BC) and the UK comic shops got their initial orders. Were these error covers distributed to Westcoast USA?
  6. LCS is forwarding potential CGC 9.8 copies of these recalled hot comics for pressing and slabbing so they can be flipped for $300. LCS will likely sell raw 9.6 copies locally next week once online pricing trends stabilize high.
  7. Price may be depressed as I saw a long box of these in the Mile High II collection but most had blue distributor ink overspray.
  8. Sheesh, when I was a kid you had to swap 2 Charltons, Gold Keys or Harveys for a Marvel comic.
  9. Yes, and Overstreet will summarize this price trend for TMNT #1 1st print nm jumping up an aggressive 10% in next Overstreet Price Guide Aug, 2020. Slow and steady; no need to reflect reality of current completed sales or auctions.
  10. * bump * I wide variety of comics and mags will be available at Kelowna Expo:
  11. I love that storyline from FF #19: Rama-tut to Dr Doom to Kang. 'First' appearance of Supergirl in costume who is named in Three Mouseketeers #23 and Action Comics #251:
  12. I think CGC uses a 10x magnifier. I used the same device when I used to work Quality Control on circuit boards.
  13. How could one tell it was a fake Hulk #181 unless comic was cracked out of PGX slab and owner found a legit #181 cover over a coverless Hulk #180 or 182 with Marvel Value Stamp inside?
  14. +1. I would like to know the Overstreet nm value for #20 on the top 20 SA comic list to predict which comic/mag may knock it off the list by summer, 2020.
  15. At the very least, cLink reports their better auction results to Overstreet over an average of 5 pages with issues and $$ near the front of the annual Price Guide .
  16. 2nd Smurfs mag from 1958. Not in Overstreet.
  17. Anthropomorphic including 2nd Smurfs from 1958. 3 Mouseketeers has ad pin up for Action #252 Supergirl:
  18. SShhh, we better stop posting about these Belgian keys then. Spirou Smurf collecting will be 'legitimized' once they get reported in Overstreet July, 2020 and distributed at SDCC.
  19. I would like to know if Spirou #1071 and 1072 are listed in the latest Overstreet yet? Perhaps listed next summer once the ComicLink Spirou 1071 Cgc 9.6 Silver Age $$ auction result is reported.
  20. Nice. Seems to be same Moldoff style as his actor/actress artwork in 1939 GA DC 'Movie Comics.'
