  1. So, the collector ships them to the UK office, the UK office ships them to the states, they do their thing and ship them back to the UK office, then the UK office ships them back to the collector. Is that right? And the advantage is...?
  2. Obnoxious people/requests aside, why would anyone refuse to provide extra pics?
  3. Favorite, not strongest. When my boy was about 5 or so, I showed him the cover to Marvel Super Heroes Secret Wars 4.
  4. I was wondering what was taking so damn long for it to get here. PM me for my addy.
  5. Today I used Ebay/PP for the first time to print out the shipping label. (It makes life so much easier, I should've been doing this from the start.) Anyway, I was a little puzzled when I read where it says (in all caps), "DO NOT TAPE OVER BARCODE". I've received dozens of packages where the barcode is covered with tape. So, is this more of a suggestion, kinda like don't use call phones on planes ... something could happen, but it's very, very unlikely.
  6. Yeah, that static gets really frustrating. It's like they're determined to stick to ya. I've found that the ones made from plastic are better than the ones made from styrofoam, but still...
  7. Meant for everyone in this thread. I was one of those "teenage comic geeks" back in the mid '70s, but I'm still amazed at the things I had no idea about & how much work (<-- that's what it seems like) people put into gathering/sharing this kind of information. I love reading about the history of our hobby, and the subject of this thread just makes me say 'wow' - not just because of the info, but because people took the time to research it. Mike
  8. I just wanted you to know that even though I have nothing to contribute, I find this subject matter fascinating. Thanks for the obviously tedious work.
  9. Yeah, but I don't think I knew how to play the speculation game very well ... I still have them.
  10. Wolverine limited series #1. Bought 12 copies and felt foolish for doing it.
  11. I likes me some mid-grade silver ...
  12. Delivery: varies What's this all about? All my old listings show a date to be delivered ... like this: Estimated on or before Mon. Jan. 08 Now, though, when I try to list something it says ... Delivery: varies edit: nevermind ... once I hit 'List it", it changed from saying 'varies' to giving a date
  13. I was surfing ebay last night and came across a comic I was thinking about bidding on. Then I noticed the seller was all_things_comics, and decided not to. Funny thing is, they have 100% positive feedback. On topic comment ... yes, "nice" is subjective, but one would think logic trumps subjectivity.
  14. There's a joke in there somewhere.
  15. I never understood that either. I wonder (besides how they knew they were file copies) if being a file copy adds something to the value?
