  1. They'll reholder for free a 2nd time? Wouldn't that be over the 14 days? Or do you get another 14 days from when you get the 1st ME back?
  2. Still waiting for an animated movie/series.
  3. I've noticed that, too. If this slowdown continues much longer, it might be time to test the waters again.
  4. Now those do it for me. I remember years ago on these boards somebody put together a nice collection of 'lady in white' comics. All featured a woman in a white dress/negligee. It was a nice collection and looked awesome.
  5. What makes a classic cover a classic cover? Because, to be perfectly honest, many of these 'classic' covers are getting a "yeah, whatever" reaction from me. Some of them are really knocking it out of the park, though.
  6. You'll get charged a separate shipping charge for that one book.
  7. You ain't required to pay it, so deny it. Don't let him intimidate you into giving him money.
  8. Agreed. *If* CGC agrees to do it that way, odds are extremely low that it'll actually be slabbed that way. It'd be cool, though.
  9. @Dinohin22 Concerning the Jumbo comic ... what are they doing for you?
  10. A quick question... If a ME has to be returned for a 2nd time, when does the 14 day window start for the 2nd ME?
  11. I can say with 100% certainty that you would not be the first. It's pretty obvious that the current owners do not care about QC, or that the lack of it is driving customers away. I think that, at this point, we can only hope that the current owners sell the company to people who do care. And soon.
  12. They say they replace the inner sleeve along with the label and slab. That's what they SAY, but it's not always the case.
  13. This my understanding... Instead of handing your package to the shipping company and then it gets shipped to the grading company, you hand the books to the rep and then they get packaged and shipped to the grading company. If you consider how many hands handle your books, maybe option 1 is preferable?
  14. I think I get it. It's not what a company does that makes it a top tier company. It's what it doesn't do.
  15. This is what CGC is hoping for. This is either what they didn't count on, or did but don't care.
  16. We're not allowed to say that they offer the service? You're right, that is weird.
  17. If you see an Ahole in the morning, ok, you saw an Ahole. If you see Aholes all day long, chances are you're the Ahole.
