For a while (for a much too long period of time & around the time that they hired many new graders), there was a common theme among the graders notes. That theme was what I & others referred to as 'phantom flaws'. There was a plethora of defects being noted by the graders that were not there. I'm not sure what the reason for this was, but many, many people experienced it. It was almost like the graders had to do it (or thought they had to do it). It hasn't been reported in a while ... that I'm aware of.

On a scale from 1 to 10, how surprised are you that they did this?

I hear that. My very first transaction was a nightmare, and I actually ended up paying the guy who bought my comic.

Why was that thread locked?

It might might possibly maybe kinda depend on which grader(s) you get. I've often wondered if CGC can tell, via the certification number, who graded which slab (any slab ... could've been graded yesterday, could've been graded 10 years ago)

Third time's the charm ... or something like that. Walgreens had it today.

What's the average wait times these days between when your package is delivered and when it's opened?

Tomorrow will be the third attempt (that's their limit before sending it back, right?), so fingers are crossed. I did try to call their customer service, but all computer carp.

Nope. Not there. But I did pick up some Burger King, so it wasn't a total wasted trip.

I'm going to run down to Walgreen and see if it's there. Something fishy is going on. I checked 'detailed tracking' and saw this...

Just got this email a few minutes ago... Walgreen is open right now, and I have been sitting 5 feet from my front door all morning.

It was redirected to Walgreen as soon as I got the email that Clink had shipped it...Thursday. And then FedEx sent me an email confirming that.

One of my comic buying bugaboos... If a buyer gets a negative for the same infraction as a previous negative outlined, he doesn't get my business. Everyone makes mistakes. People who refuse to learn from them give me pause.
