I'm not claiming this is a must-have. but figured people following this thread would be interested in the Psylocke JTC negative space variant:

Hawaii 5-0 (reboot), Season 9, episode 9: Mai Ka Po Mai Ka 'Oia'i'o
There are a few scenes in a comic book shop. A variety of books can be seen, but especially some Valiant comics (as Christos Gage, who was writing for Valiant, wrote the episode).

Just need to hear from valiantman now to complete my "triggered over ASM 667 Dell'otto" bingo card. You people just cant help yourselves.

Also, interesting that you equate people not just accepting your hearsay as fact as being "triggered." No; it's as simple as calling out to new readers what is BS, and what is not.

You've presented no hard evidence regarding the print run of this variant; just what you've been told. Hear…say. It's not that hard a concept.

Based on Deadpool 3's Wolvie costume, is this the next spec book?

My sentiment was more around the numbers not being the whole story, very much far from it.
The ratio's between Direct editions, and newsstand editions in the various era's is only the starting point, and not the conclusion.
The open anecdotes of collectors out there actively pursuing newsstand books, and the prices key newsstand books are reaching tells a very clear picture.
The most compelling book illustrating the hyperbole and rarity around newsstand editions vs direct editions is of course Ultimate Fallout 4.
GPA Data:
CGC 9.8 universal, 2,056 recorded sales.
CGC 9.8 newsstand, 1 recorded sales.
CGC 9.6 universal, 1,972 recorded sales.
CGC 9.6 newsstand, 2 recorded sales.
CGC 9.4 universal, 1,109 recorded sales.
CGC 9.4 newsstand, 5 recorded sales.
The planet has/is being scoured high and low in search of this book. The prices paid for newsstand copies over regular editions are simply astronomical right now.
But has GPA been tracking Newsstand as its own category the entire time? I know for sure that there are some books that I've looked up that have grouped the Newsstand sales and Direct sales together.

I probably should have asked in this thread earlier; I'm trying to complete a Milestone collection (all editions), and since they crossed over with DC for Worlds Collide, that would include the DCU logo variants for Superman: Man of Steel 36 (I have 35), Superboy 6-7, and Steel 6-7. If anyone has any to spare, please let me know.

The 'no one knows anything' line is severely over the top.
We know the fundamentals quite well, and we know the era's of newsstand ratio's quite well. No one is going to give exact numbers as that is impossible, but there is heck of a lot information on newsstand editions that is very well known, and understood.
The numbers we have are mostly speculation, as companies don't release the numbers.

I was tracking this one. It just went for $7200 and change all action at the last min and 30 seconds.
I'm curious what this one will grade out as. The only real defect is the large (production?) ink fade at the top of interior page 2 and 3 that affects the art and some of the story.. Seller had it as a NM- due to the defect. How do you think CGC will treat this one? At the price it went, the buyer thinks it's in the 9.0-9.4 range.
Could be someone gambling that CGC doesn't actually check all of the pages, and they just got a 5-figure book for 4 figures.

I can tell you from experience those Heroes books are really hard to find. I have found one set and some extras
in one shop last year and its my only find. Long Hot Summer is another one that I bought anytime I found them cheap
because I never see them anymore.Wise Son as well, since that was published very close to the end.

Unbelievable. Just got an eBay purchase in the mail. 8 books, no bags or boards, just wrapped in tissue paper and put in a bubble mailer. No cardboard at all.

I think the only issue of Heroes that had been slabbed before my submission was issue 1. My long-term goal is to get the original line in 9.6 or better. I've got a lot of the tough books out of the way already. Just need to go through the rest of my raw collection for candidates on all of the earlier issues.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but that Static book is the regular Coipel variant, not the foil, correct?

Correct; as someone else mentioned it seems like he is very difficult to please (and has the worst luck at buying on eBay; maybe he should just stop).
And he just added one more:
In my case, if I did miss the detached staple at the CF, that's on me and I completely understand his disappointment. This same situation has happened to me multiple times on eBay. However, once I passed on his partial refund offer and instead wanted my book and to give him a 100% refund (including original shipping) he got very hostile.
Yeah, that definitely sounds like a buyer looking to invent non-existent problems to get a discount he shouldn't be getting.
