I recall buying and reading many of these issues new (off the news stand). Many great reads here. Hopefully there are still a few people out there who actually read comics. Good luck.

Bob, Just reading this thread makes me sick. So sorry this happened to you or rather was done to you. I am spreading the word to be on the look out. I hope everyone who reads this thread will take it seriously and spread this news to everyone they know. Let’s get as many eyes looking for these books as possible.

I tend to agree with this. I don't typically have books graded, however, when I had my 252 graded, I found I didn't like the idea of not having a raw copy I could actually look through. I ended up going out and buying a raw copy.

So far I have found your pricing very fair and reasonable. I think no matter how low you mark things, there are always going to be those who want them for less.

I thought my copy of this book was nice. What a beautiful book. Wow!

Thank you. Took some work to get it to spin through so many different books (100 different books) and look like one continous clip, however, I think it was worth the trouble. Glad you enjoyed it.

I am not sure what service to use anymore. I used to believe USPS was great. Then I received this in the mail and it made me sick to my stomach.... I guess at least it wasn't stolen. I do want to say that I feel bad for the OP and hope every boardie will keep their eyes open for this easily identifiable book.

I wanted to thank you for this post (and not via just a “thanks” emoji). Posts like this are what I like about the boards. Stories about how comics have impacted a person. Stories about the “good old days” of print catalogs and picking “alternates”. Stories of perhaps a simpler time. Yea, the internet is awesome and has made finding those “hidden treasures” and “hard to find” items easier, however, many times I miss those days of “the hunt”. Those days when filling that hole in the collection took “work”. When that print catalog came in and I would quickly thumb through the pages to see what I could find (and afford). I could go on, however, this is not about my younger days, but rather just a thank you for your post and for reminding me once more of those days gone by. Those days, whose remembrance, bring me a smile. I wish the boards were full of more posts like yours. Thank you!
