Side note, not only is it my favorite holiday, but my Dodgers are in the World Series finally after 29 years. Game 6 is tonight. They gotta win tonight and tomorrow night. I see no reason why they can't. I spent this weekend on our yearly family camping trip. Although, I was able to see most of the games here and there, I realized that somethings are just way more important than comic books, baseball or Halloween... Go Dodgers!!!

Did you manage to snag any World Series tickets? They are going for $850 and up on stubhub.
I last went to the World Series at $125 back in 2002. In 2012, game 1 tickets were $500 nose bleed seats and $1.2k nice seats. I passed.
You can add plenty to the junk pile for $850.
Not this time my friend. Going to a local sports bar in a few. Just can't see the dough. They will win if I'm there or not!
My last WS was of course '88. My tickets were $45. I believe. I went to game #1 and #2. We all know what happened in game #1. I have two ticket stubs (one un-used!) from it autographed by Gibson but I just can't find them. I was going to post them...

GGA Grails - Ginger and Sherry!
This weekend I picked up 2 GGA grails. The first is Ginger 4. The staples are rusted, there's a small stain to the left of Ginger's face, and the cover is detached, but I still love it! I think it'll look even better once I've got it protected in the CGC slab.
The second is Sherry #6. This title is tough to collect. A couple years ago a boardie offered a few issues and I've always regretted not dropping a flag when I had a chance. I've still got a long way to go to complete my Sherry and Showgirls runs.
That Ginger #4 is my old copy. I tried selling it on the boards I believe in the $100+ range and got no takers after I found a better one. I put it on the bay and it went considerable higher. Great book.

Real cool! I love Dime Mystery Pulps. Some great covers. Stories don't always pan out as well as the covers sometimes. My favorite pulps to read are the Spider and Strange Detective Mysteries. Stories never disapoint and are some of the most disturbing stuff.
