  1. Speaking of Ninkasi, loved their parody of Budweiser's self righteous Super Bowl commercial from a couple years ago:
  2. Three Floyd's recently took Lazer Snake out of the bomber realm and turned it loose in six packs. Changed my religion for the better since Binny's still hides the Zombie Dust in the back and I'm too lazy to flag down one of the floor associates to ask about it.
  3. Which reprint version is that of Action 1? The sweat beads are missing from the guy in the lower left corner, so its obviously not the original.
  4. Happy Friday! When possible, please add the Star Trek: Boldly Go issues to the Star Trek (IDW Complete) set. For reference, I have the #4 Karl Urban photo cover (1506088012). Thanks!
  5. $30 for the first four, $10 each for the next four, $5 x the state he’s signing in’s personal income tax rate + $2 (for those pesky 0% states) each for any additional.
  6. Seller did the same with a Daredevil 1. Back cover sig looks even worse than a poorly placed front cover sig imho.
  7. To each his own. Some probably say Cockroach Spidey isn't a work of art either.
  8. Last time I saw Liefeld at a con, he had what seemed like a 12 tier pricing structure for what he was charging to sign, all based upon the item to be signed. On top of that he had a VIP and regular people autograph line (at least there was no charge to stand in the regular people line). And now this. Some of these creators are doing everything they can to take the golden goose, strangle it, serve the good part at Sunday dinner, and have the rest pureed and sold to a local dog food maker.
  9. Couldn't this possibly make it a more valuable signature? I mean Stan would have to put in more than his standard assembly line effort in order to add in the "for ebay" quip...
  10. Ironically, "And Now...the Wolverine!" has been obscured enough by the signature to read "And No". Probably what 99% of buyers immediately think. There are signatures, and there are defacements...
  11. Why? Just...why??? https://www.ebay.com/itm/Incredible-Hulk-181-CGC-Stan-Lee-Signature-Series-1st-Wolverine/263249133230?hash=item3d4adefeae:g:~SYAAOSwez5Z1rbq
  12. Elf...the band featuring Ronnie Dio of many moons ago?????
  13. "Patty [Jenkins]'s success with that film only solidifies more for studios that there's less to fear with a female protagonist," You would think that these insufficiently_thoughtful_persons would focus more on Wonder Woman being fantastic in basically all facets that go into making a blockbuster movie rather than the "Woman" portion of the title, but seeing the slew of scandals pouring out of Hollyweird lately, it really doesn't surprise me that they'd totally miss the mark. Make a great movie and the audiences will follow, regardless of who is in the lead.
  14. The marketing and previous character build up for Ragnarok has also been much better. From past movies you already know a good amount about the major players and how they will tie into this latest story. And the previews give you a look into the actual story! In comparison, JLA looks like its building up to be yet another BvS - a disjointed mess of half explained stuff happening, whose only saving grace was that it made me really want to see Wonder Woman. From the previews, I can see that Flash likes to tell jokes, and Ben Affleckman is still brooding.
  15. I'd love to hear a more detailed explanation from USPS on that..."Well your package was addressed to 'Ocean City', so we tossed it into the ocean for a week before thinking better of it. Uhhh, sorry about that." I've been fortunate enough not to have any packages suffer crazy damage, but I occasionally receive enveloped mail torn to shreds in the ironically labeled "We Care" bags with the standard apology text. I just keep them thumbtacked to my office wall for mild comic relief.
  16. I said somewhere else that the best thing about Ben Affleckman vs. Superman was that it made me really want to see Wonder Woman. And to paraphrase Homer Simpson, when the movie was released I kept saying "I'll go a little later. I'll go a little later." And when I finally got to the theater, they told me she just left. But we finally broke out the Blu Ray last night, and I definitely did myself a disservice by not seeing Wonder Woman on the big screen. By far my favorite DC movie since Nolan rode off into the sunset. And to think Hollyweird once wanted to cast Megan Fox as Wonder Woman...the horror!!!
  17. I know for sure that Reece Comics and ComicLink have a seller fee of 10% of the final sale price. I tried to look up Heritage's seller fee and the best I could figure out was that it's equal to the square root of the sin wave of 3.6^x divided by the final sale price multiplied by the progressive sales tax of Montana from 1976-1985. In all seriousness, I have no idea what they charge, their website layout makes me think they would prefer the general public not know. Ultimately, you'll have no trouble selling that AF 15 no matter what platform you use.
  18. I hear you, and I think that’s why I wouldn’t like this series if I decided to pony up for streaming. The Klingons in the classical sense liked to fight, party, and occasionally invade a planet. But they were usually sensible too. The “Discovery” version seem to be, expanding on what I said before, space faring Uruk-Hai. They look and act over-the-top barbaric, and over enunciate most syllables. Makes you wonder how they ever broke the warp barrier.
  19. Erase Praxis?? I certainly wish they would have erased the magic Khan blood from Into Darkness. Well that's not fair -- in retrospect I wish they'd erase Into Darkness altogether.
  20. I've never even thought about a pressing moving stress lines off of the spine and onto one of the covers, good catch. Another pressing quirk to take into account for the future.
  21. You have to figure some of them will end up on the market in the near future. Word will spread.
  22. I would bet the matter will end up in front of someone in a black robe if they don't.
