  1. I preordered this on iTunes but may possibly cancel before its release. I saw a YouTube clip of the prison break and Carnage looked like a video game. Seemed too choppy/digital instead of organic. I’m not going to judge from one clip though, but that puts me on the fence.
  2. Whoa, how about WAY ahead of Iron Man 3 and Captain Marvel. Both Ant-Man movies were at least more fun to watch than BW. Hulk was a bad movie but the action scenes more than make up for it. On a positive note, I didn’t hate this movie. I think there was a lot of potential there but it lost its footing for whatever reason. I could watch BW again.
  3. You didn’t like Days of Future Past? I thought it was great.
  4. Good top ten MCU list. We share quite a few including the top spot. In the MCU. I’m interested to see that same list with non-MCU movies based on Marvel added in. I’m trying to work mine now by adding in Days of Future Past, Spider-Man 2, Logan, Blade and I’m sure I’m missing a couple. I’ll leave off Kingsman.
  5. Well, we share five movies as favorites on the top ten. I do have to note that my number one pick is your number ten. Also, I have not seen Shang-Chi yet so thats a wild card.
  6. Broke 300 million in ten days. Not too shabby for these crazy times we are in. Any chance this will beat the top spot for 2021 being F9?
  7. This sort of looks cool to me. Has a bit of the Fargo vibe. I guess I gotta watch season one now.
  8. I would watch this if Dave Bautista had the role like they originally wanted.
  9. That’s a great list there except for Iron Man 3 which stands out like a box of Walmart wine in Tuscany.
  10. Just the fact that you stated that I’m hating on Marvel shows the validity of your argument. It’s a childish tactic. When you state one falsehood, it doesn’t help the rest of your points. Would you like to see how many Marvel movies I have purchased on iTunes? Or maybe a Schwab screenshot of my Disney holdings? What a ridiculous statement. Again, the theater industry didn’t turn itself around just last month with the release of Shang-Chi. Other movies before it had been more successful and brought in a better take at the box office. And I don’t believe those movies saved the industry either though they contributed. It was the movies released during the height of the pandemic that still brought the people out that started a course change. Movies like A Quiet Place Part II. But carry on, no one will convince you otherwise. I guess its only a matter of time before we get news stories stating that the cinemas were officially saved in September 2021 with the release of Shang-Chi.
  11. I know. I’m seeing mixed reviews out there so there’s hope I will enjoy it. I know it won’t break any pandemic records. I heard the highest grossing film of the year is the latest Fast and Furious movie, (I have no idea what number it is). 700 million worldwide or something close to that.
  12. You are delusional to think that. Other movies have surpassed the total worldwide box office of Shang-Chi and yet they didn’t save the industry because they are not Marvel movies. Do you even read what you write? If any single movie can be credited, its A Quiet Place 2. I think you’re already aware of the facts regarding its box office despite how cautious everyone was still being back in May. Despite the lock down restrictions just starting to ease up. But no, a movie that just got released saved the industry. You keep that ship afloat brother and protect your comic investments! You could also try Schwab.
  13. You’ll hang on to anything to stay afloat. Love it.
  14. When Gunn and Snyder teamed up on Dawn of the Dead, it was zombie flick perfection. It had a serious horror tone vs Army’s strange lighter one. Army didn’t work for me and I was looking forward to it all year. Now I have no interest in any of the spin-offs but will watch them eventually.
  15. Quantum and SPECTRE were definitely the weakest of Craigs run but I think the Mexico City opening for SPECTRE was fantastic. And the aircraft jump scene was the only memorable one for Quantum. I see No Time to Die has leaked copies online but I’ll wait to buy it legit in 4K for my spoiled American eyes. I can’t watch this in 1080p like an animal.
  16. I bought it on iTunes for twenty bucks as it would have cost more to take the family to see it in theaters anyway. Can’t watch yet but looking forward to it.
  17. Didn’t therealsilvermane predict that James Bond would save the theater industry? I’m pretty sure it was that guy.
  18. No surprise there, its the last outing for Craig and the end of a Bond era. In my opinion Casino Royale was the best film and it went downhill from there. Despite that, I still find Craig exhilarating to watch as Bond. The next actor is really going to have to bring it.
