    Who’s making the excuses? Serious question. Who are “they”? I haven’t seen it yet but if sucks it’s sucks. Or if it’s ok it’s ok. There’s no reason to defend any movie. Unless you made it.

    I agree, I don’t believe 44 are out there. Maybe ten though. And even those ten may not see the light of day. As for the Black AP’s out there, I’m only willing to buy the one I owned previously and no others. I remember reporting there were more AP’s before a second ever surfaced because I could see the AP outline residue on the back of my copy.

    Yes but those numbers are the known ones to us here on these boards. There are more out there, just sitting in a box buried in the back of someone’s garage. Possibly thrown out as well but every few years a black seems to pop up on eBay. I’ve seen people start the ashcan quest here (including me) only to lose interest and begin more easily attainable goals. Oh, and a note to the gentleman here I sold my black #1 AP to some years ago, I’m always willing to buy it back.

    Very cool, I believe there were 25 prints with original drawings by Sam in the window. Some were trees or Outback creatures but the ones with Maxx or Julie are the most desirable.

    I had only seen Justice League once at release and didn’t care to do a repeat viewing. Some of it has actually faded from my memory which is good. It’s very rare a movie gets a do-over like this so I’ll go into it fresh right after watching the Ultimate Edition of BvS. Has any other movie in history had a do-over like this? I remember The Abyss Special Edition changed the movie significantly by adding a global threat to go along with the chaos below. But that could be considered a Directors Cut. Tarantino turned The Hateful 8 into an extended four episode Netflix series but it was still close to his source material. I think this is a first.

    Pretty much nailed it. I’ll watch this next week and if I think it sucks I’ll call it out. I don’t defend any movie because it’s in a certain wheelhouse.

    That’s too bad I was hoping this would do well critically since there’s no box office to speak of anymore. Good comic book movies bode well for the industry and our hobby. But at least you’re happy about it for some reason.

    I’ve heard the same about his other novel Armada. Maybe the first RP1 book was just lightning in a bottle.

    Let the children play! I do hope WW84 is great but I’m kinda more excited for Black Widow despite never really digging ScarJo in the role. That movie has a different feel to me than the standard Marvel fare. I didn’t see anything that wowed me in the WW trailers but it’s the 80s so I’m down.

    I’m surprised I never heard of female Hawkeye since she’s been around since 2005. But then again, I was never a big fan of original Hawkeye. I think they missed a real opportunity with Iron Heart. Should have been the daughter or son of James Rhodes.

    Well you have people that feel like they need to choose a side, Apple or Android, Xbox or PS, etc. Personally, I love options. I have The Dark Knight sitting right there next to Winter Soldier. The best of the best from both franchises.
