Just got 6 of my 20 books back from CGC. Some fared much better than I thought they would, this one though - I was thinking it would be a 7 to 7+ but I imagine that dogged upper left corner did it in. Still, glad to have it slabbed up. Joe did a tremendous job, my Hulk 180 was absolutely cleaned by a master. The raw copy had some dark marks on the otherwise white spine, and Joe got rid of them completely. So glad I took good "before" pics to compare with the slabs. You rock, Joe! Cheers!

Grats on the results. Have you checked the grader's notes on the ASM? Might be worthwhile, it could list what dragged it down, though yeah, I imagine it's that corner.

  2. FINALLY saw this, and I was pleasantly surprised. I really enjoyed it for the most part, much better than I was expecting, and easily IMO one of the best openings of any MCU movie, what with the woman singing Smells Like Teen Spirit to that imagery, that hit hard, and it was a beautiful, powerful intro. Very memorable.

I was wondering if anyone knows if CGC will encapsulate my Ultimate Spider-Man 1 Dynamic Forces variant with its COA. Thanks.

Generally they don't. You'd have to ask them, so personally, I'd contact them first and see what how they'd like you to mark the forms to have the best chance of getting this done. Note if it's a signed DF cover, it'll get a Qualified (green) grade, marked as having 'writing' on the cover. They don't recognise them as valid signatures for SS.

  4. Whether it's Gunpla kits, conventional figures, TV shows, OVAs, mangas, video games, and tons more, this is hopefully the right place to do it.

I'm personally in a very Gundammy mood at the moment. Building Gunpla is good physio for my wrist (broken and went through surgery), my physio was happy to hear I'm doing kits. There's so much great new stuff since I last looked, I want it all! Real Grade Sinanju, I mean... WOW! So far I'm working on a Zephyranythes Full Burnern RG, it's coming along slowly but nicely.

For the first time I'm watching Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans. Only 3 or 4 epsidoes in, and I think it's great. Can it live up to Gundam 00? I can't wait to find out. It's certainly had a good start, so who knows.

Finally, I'm reading the Gundam Seed Astray manga. Published by Tokyo pop in 2004 I think? Good stuff. Story is so much better told than 00F, which is a shame.
