I had no idea, never saw his post. I DID think it sounded like Beerbohm (apologies for spelling.) but I'm pretty sure his issue was with an earlier book.

His was an issue of All-Star Comics, 8 I believe, that the forum supposedly called the 'best ever seen' (note, that wasn't said) and there was another that CGC admittedly got a tape pull on, 19 or so perhaps? He got compensated for that with all grading fees paid for.

CCP didn't have the internet before 2018.  Something ticked off Pooh Bear and he's showing who's boss.

Without getting into politics, everything ticked off Pooh Bear this year, including a trade war with Australia. He's doubled down on the western world trade, so I'm not surprised to see movies scrutinised even harder than before.

    Queue Hardy's tearful apology....

  3. I enjoy the Dunk And Egg stories, but I'm not sure how well it'll adapt to television, seeing as there's really just a main cast of two, and there's a lot they'd have to make up. We've seen how well it goes when they make up their own storylines, and I'd rather not see that repeated, thank you very much.

I also can't see them keeping the tone of the short stories intact, which IMO is a very important factor.

Are you insane? That movie is hilarious!

like c’mon If I tried to explain the scene below you’d think I was pulling your leg but there it is.

I prefer the scene where he just dropkicks the old woman through the glass wall, firmly out of nowhere. I cracked up laughing, while the other two I was watching with were trying to shush me.

  5. Picked up something I didn't even know about today, which was nice; a Gundam Infinity Series 1 Astray Red Frame. Nice detailing and accessories, and it was only 25 bucks AU. Problem is its done in a bit of a soft plastic, so the usual crisp Gundam detailing isn't quite there, and the articulation is pretty bad. The shoulder and hips are balljoints, but so restricted they may as well be swivels, and there's no bicep or thigh cuts.

Nice enough for what it is, and they have a BAF Zaku if you want the set of 5.

It's not a bad little figure, really. I do like it, but doubt I'll buy any more.

Sorry to hear that, hopefully insured?

I guess I have been lucky, as I sold 5 or 6 slabs last month to USA and all have arrived safely.

Im in Melbourne, so maybe that helps as it only has to go to the airport and away it goes.

Hope things work out for you (thumbsu

Cheers, mate. BBTS has been good about communication, they tell me my package (and many other Aussies') are still in America, stuck in USPS' backlog. They're stating to have patience for them to clear said backlog, which is understandable. However, with no timeframes and my money on the line I'm admittedly less than impressed with it all, and just want it all over and done with.

I want my product, to be clear, not my money, as several of the items in the package are sold out and already above market price to rebuy (Storm Collectibles Mortal Kombat stuff mainly).

It's just ugly and frustrating all round.

Problem was at the USA end.

It was USPS that didn't have the planes - sending wasn't an issue to USA, but getting stuff from you guys was.

All sorted now - last box from Joey took 2 weeks Florida - Melbourne.

So it's safe to post to Australia / NZ now. (thumbsu

But packages are still lost from that time period. I've had a Bigbadtoystore parcel I sent in that time, which I now consider lost as its going on almost exactly 4 months to the day it was sent, and it was last tracked September 6. BBTS assure me everything is fine, and other Aussie customers are in the same boat as me and patiently waiting it out.

I've asked them for a date that we can consider it gone, and nothing. This is the first parcel I've ever lost, apart from a Dead Or Alive figure that went missing for 8 months but did show up. It'd been misspent from the UK to Barbados for some unknown reason. It eventually found its way to me however, and is now a fun story.

Australia has been in a shipping crisis for a while. The USPS suspended service to there for several categories in September. There is a problem getting cargo flights apparently.

So it may not be specific to the CGC slab, but may be because they just can’t ship there right now in a timely fashion.

Apparently, it’s also not permissible to aggregate shipments or do Assembly Orders. I don’t know if this also hurts the situation:

Assembly Order shipments are where shipments from multiple suppliers to one consignee are consolidated into a single shipment.

Don't even get me started on this...
