  2. I knew you'd end up grabbing this one! I was on the fence..Congrats and thanks for removing the temptation.
  3. This recent pickup puts me at the halfway point for the run:
  4. That's a great cover-surreal and wacky at the same time!
  5. Robot there were only 3 UK ECs published by Arnold: Tales From the Crypt 1 & 2 and Haunt of Fear 1. There are a few issues of the war books that were published in Australia, so maybe that's what he has?
  6. All those Marvel horror pages at $20/each! Just the Frankensteins alone are bib-worthy!
  7. After 15 years I've finally been able to upgrade this scarce book:
  8. In the early horror-ish department, I was happy to get this one: Disney ripoff of Goofy, Pluto and Mickey, plus an early horror-themed cover, from 1946
  9. Thanks, Robot. I've had the cover for over a decade and it was only last year that I was able to find a decent copy-it is tough!
  10. War Victory Adventures 3, bought as Avison, but I'm not too sure. I see Avison in the central figure, but the ones in the foreground are more detailed than his style....
  11. I really like the OFF 35. Looks like Kubert liked it so much he revisited it 21 years later:
  12. From the story that got him hired at D.C. R.I.P. Bernie.
  13. Who do you guys recommend as the best online source for Mylites and fullbacks?
  14. I could see this thing topping $3k by the time the dust settles. It's already at 10x OPG. Sold for over $4500 About 25% higher than I expected, good sale. there is a 7.5 in the upcoming clink if anyone missed out on the 8.5. Also a 7.0 file copy slabbed by the other guys that is coming up at Heritage in March.
  15. That's an absolute stunner! Congrats on an awesome pickup.
  16. I could see this thing topping $3k by the time the dust settles. It's already at 10x OPG.
  17. I'm actively buying nice Star Spangled War Stories and Unknown Soldier pages by Gerry Talaoc. Please contact me if you have any, ESPECIALLY pages from SSWS 199 and 200. Also actively buying any page one Death splashes from Weird War Tales. Please PM me if you have anything you think I'd be interested in. Thanks in advance!
  18. That's a great page-I love how Kamen's inks really pop on the page. Congrats!
  19. Unfortunately, this is so very true. So, why not for the pre-hero GA DC books which are in fact, 25 years older and very much rarer in comparison. There are still some of us insane people who love these old, old, old DC books. I love the action/adventure oriented stuff especially. Flessel, Guardineer and best of all O'mealia really did some great work in these. The non-Superman Siegel and Shuster art is pretty amazing too, with great action and innovative page layouts.
