    early Ditko covers have been strong sellers when they have come up in the last few months. Space Adv 10, Thing 12 and Strange SS 19 have all done some nice numbers, but this beauty is the rarest of them all! Low number in the census, impossible book to find in any grade, much less this nice. Congrats to both buyer and seller.

    This CLink auction has had some STRONG PCH prices achieved! Loving watching the results as a spectator since most of my bid caps are getting stomped.

    Luckily I've had my vg/fn copy for a while. I've always liked this cover and War Fury 1. I went thru a flamethrower collecting phase and got all the ones that I could find, but those were the best of the bunch (Battle Cry 15, War Battles 5, and War Comics 11 round out my top 5).

    So, just looking for opinions here. Do you think there is any PCH crossover demand driving other genres? I'm also a war comics guy, and love flamethrower covers. Some of those can be pretty intense. This sale tonight was for one of the better ones, top census at 6.0, and even so I was shocked that it reached $929: Battle Cry #1 CLink

    I've always liked that Eerie 14 cover. Yours is a great copy-most of the ones I've seen are pretty beaten up. Zombies+water are always a favorite combination of mine.

    I find it interesting that the picture was taken in February, and while the Adventure has a cover date of March which you would expect, the Patsy Walker is the May issue. Even though it was a bimonthly, I would have thought the March issue would still be on the stands (or maybe the picture was taken right after new books had been put on the rack?). I love seeing these old newsstand pics.

    Congrats! Was it the Blue Bolt? That one went for a song considering it had a Cole cover and a Wolverton interior story....I stopped bidding only because of all the tasty goodness ending today.
