Wow, shortly after I posted my tale, I received an email showing me the penciled version of my piece. Weird, or as Sheldon Cooper would say "Oh, well, this would be one of those circumstances that people unfamiliar with the law of large numbers would call a coincidence."

I am also waiting for a commission from November. My second from this artist. First one was done fast and he went over and above. He still answers my emails and says it's in the works but won't say why the delay. It isn't a big money piece, but $150 means something to me.
The longest I have waited was about 2 years. Was supposed to be a Batman bust, but he (not the same as above) ended up sending me a full body gray tone.

It is the first appearance of Knull, who is Lord of the Symbiotes. That book is on fire.
Ah, the 2018 series
Yes, sorry. I didn't specify. $200 for high grade raw, $350 - 400 for 9.8 blue. I don't do moderns, but man, there is some money changing hands on these and the variants. And I can't imagine them not having an affect on the original 1st apps of Venom and Carnage.

I know this has, more or less, turned into a direct/newsstand discussion, but I think the price bump has something to do with the symbiote increase across the board. ASM 300, ASM 361, Venom 3, and all the modern variants are moving. (siiiiiiigghhhhh) I only have the one I got from my sub all those years ago.

A friend of mine knew a dealer and many years ago that dealer gave him several funkos (my friend collects comics, not this stuff) . Fast forward to the last 12 months and a check of ebay shows outlandish prices. He quickly sells one for $600, and another is now approaching $800. Who'da thought? He will flip it for a GA Cap.

I read a quote attributed to the complainant in which she says he didn't initiate an intimate relationship until she was 18. Questionable, maybe, but unless/until there is more...

I would do the run. Easy choice for me. Issues 1-15 are chock full of great villains. 31-33 is a classic story. 51-52 is another tremendous trilogy. That is just the first 52. There is a lot of filler in the mid to late 100's through 200's but the highs outweigh the lows, I firmly believe. I am building the run, but I will probably never have 1-5, 14, or 129.

Nice! where was he having his holiday sale? I did not realize he had a site.
Malvin
It was posted on Facebook in November and I messaged him. Solid deal. He had several options between B&W and color, size, and head, torso and full body.

One of the best sci-fi movies ever but no remakes please.Prequel may be ok.Remember what happened with the remake of The Day The Earth Stood Still and the horrible, horrible remake of War of the Worlds.
If it works the first time around, don't mess with it.
Yes, because they often make it revolve around the star actor, not the original story. The minute I saw dockworker Tom cruise with a father/son problem I knew I would enjoy the movie.

I'm confused by the question... It's restored and is a 9.8 grade.
I'm sure I'm missing it. Considering 9.8 is the defacto top of the mark (yes 9.9 and 10.0, but those are rare premiums), but if it's restored, how can it get the 9.8? Green label is "if not for blank, it would be this" (I believe), but is restoration the same?

in Hey buddy, can you spare a grade?

Hello people, I bought this about 5 months ago, and I think I know where it sits, but with the recent warmth of the book, I thought I would see how close I am with a consensus. Complete and attached at both staples. Some alignment issues, creasing, chips, and staple fatigue /tears.
