  1. Just call CGC. I had the problem and they took care of it easy. All I had to do was send an email where I wanted it redirected to. Yeah it's annoying, but it is fixable. Also it's FedEx ground. They completely ignore the signature requirement and just forge it.
  2. Good deal! Just renewed for $79 too. Don't plan on any submissions soon, but that's like 3 free modern comics to submit.
  3. It'd be hilarious if people bought 9.8s and cracked them and submitted them for new grading just to mess with the census.
  4. There's always publisher and artist comp copies. That's likely one of those. Generally most places that claim a limited number will small print this.
  5. I can see that being bought. The effort someone went through to get those everything in high grade would be insane.
  6. $410? Talk about a fall from grace.
  7. That's an awesome piece. Very jealous! Also jealous you got a commission spot too.
  8. Modern Slow Track, 25 books. Delivered 11/7. Shipped 11/14. I'm as shocked as everyone else. And surprisingly, Fedex is delivering early.
  9. There's no point in sending it back. As much as I hate them, I'm sure a lot of the comic "influencers" would eat this story up. CGC deserves the bad press until they make this right.
  10. To clarify, they've always claimed that turnaround times start at received. I'm not disbuting that. However, I'm saying turnaround times are showing are now around 20 days, but receiving times, which were caught up for quite a while, are now at 2-3 weeks. So instead of marking received day of with 35 day posted turnarounds, CGC can just opt to not mark received for 2-3 weeks and still claim 20 days on their website. So it looks better on paper for them and for people wanting to send stuff in.
  11. If it takes a company 100 days to open a package and 20 days to grade it, then the turnaround time is 120 days, full stop. Claiming receiving times don't count is just BS. I get that signings and Cons increase time. That's fine, just post it as such.
  12. Oh they can open them in a reasonable amount of time. But if they never mark them as received, then the turnaround time clock hasn't started. And this way they can claim short turnaround times. Notice they removed the "Now opening packages received XXX..."
  13. My guess was as the book was being pulled from the bag, the rear tape stuck to it and removed that part.
  14. Someone can correct me, but it looks like $1500 in sales to redeem. Or you can buy 2000 points for $200 in their store.
  15. Once everyone gets their "surprise" 1099 tax bills around Feb 1st, I expect to see a lot of keys go up for sale to get some quick cash
  16. If it's a lot of runs where you can copy paste a lot of info, then it may not be too bad. However, if it's random, $50 an hour seems very fair. That's a lot more work than most people think.
  17. I would definitely not send those back. That's hilarious.
  18. Post them for what you want out of it. If it doesn't sell, then just wait. If there's demand and it sells, then you got what you wanted. Simple as that.
  19. Doesn't fit in the slab, so they don't grade them. It *might* be possible to grade now with magazine sized slabs.
  20. In a weird twist, these have been some of my best few weeks in sales on eBay in months. Just sold a comic for $175 I paid $4 for that I listed at $400 for a joke to match someone else's listing. Granted it's a rare comic, but a very tiny market.
  21. Oh boy, a picture of the bat cowl. Now let me pay $100,000 for it! Seriously, whoever pays even $500 for this garbage are insufficiently_thoughtful_persons
  22. I basically assume if you send 100 definite 9.8 copies of a single issue for grading, they'll gift you a 9.9 or two. This is why you'll see store exclusive sellers like JSC get 9.9 copies, but not your average pleeb. If they actually followed the rules, we'd be seeing a lot more 9.9s and 10s. I'm sure the internal rule is too many dilutes the brand.
  23. In other news, every DC periodical between 10/11/22 and 12/31/22 is conventiently also getting a 1:50 or greater ratio variant.
