  1. Doesn't fit in the slab, so they don't grade them. It *might* be possible to grade now with magazine sized slabs.
  2. In a weird twist, these have been some of my best few weeks in sales on eBay in months. Just sold a comic for $175 I paid $4 for that I listed at $400 for a joke to match someone else's listing. Granted it's a rare comic, but a very tiny market.
  3. Oh boy, a picture of the bat cowl. Now let me pay $100,000 for it! Seriously, whoever pays even $500 for this garbage are insufficiently_thoughtful_persons
  4. I basically assume if you send 100 definite 9.8 copies of a single issue for grading, they'll gift you a 9.9 or two. This is why you'll see store exclusive sellers like JSC get 9.9 copies, but not your average pleeb. If they actually followed the rules, we'd be seeing a lot more 9.9s and 10s. I'm sure the internal rule is too many dilutes the brand.
  5. In other news, every DC periodical between 10/11/22 and 12/31/22 is conventiently also getting a 1:50 or greater ratio variant.
  6. In the age of Photoshop art, I think it's refreshing to see someone use traditional mediums. Not my favorite artwork either, but it's unique. Her Ghost Spider 2 cover put her on the map.
  7. I say these are going to tank in price once the initial hype is gone and graded copies finally get back to buyers.
  8. Collect what you love. Moderns are much more about collecting art than collecting stories.
  9. I'd also add that's a 9.9. a 9.8 would probably be $75-100 less.
  10. They definitely lost your book or sent it to someone else on accident.
  11. Fools and their money are soon parted. Now excuse me while I go purchase all these new fancy Clayton Crain acetate covers.
  12. Look, if people are buying and selling Funko's, which are the most boring toys in the world for thousands of dollars, is anyone truly surprised that people are paying $100 for niche comics?
  13. If it's a good movie, who cares? There's lots of bad movies about characters people care about, what's so bad about small characters getting a chance at a good arc?
  14. Pretty sure you can only be logged in from 2 devices at any given time. If you log into a 3rd, it'll kick the oldest one off.
  15. It's easy to blame USPS, but that is 95% on the shipper for shipping a valuable comic like that. Based on the stamps, that's probably also media mail.
  16. This is FedEx. You can be home 24/7 and they'll still lie through their teeth about a unsuccessful delivery attempt.
  17. Hey CGC, thanks for adding the ink mark on my KOTOR 9. This being the replacement copy I purchased and subbed because you got what looks to be black sharpy on my last copy two years ago. I'm thrilled to be losing money on another copy of this.
  18. I'd argue Jon Favreau is much more responsible for The Mandalorian than Filoni, but yes, I'll still stand by my statement. I realize this is probably a very unpopular opinion, and I'm not looking to derail this thread, so I'll keep it at that.
  19. Dump Kathleen Kennedy and Filoni. Hire Tony Gilroy. This guy finally gets it right. I feel like Andor has the potential to be the best Star Wars anything to date.
  20. Let's do a one time price drop to $550 for all 3. If no takers, I'm closing tomorrow and moving elsewhere. I may also be willing to break them up if anyone is interested in that.
  21. Looking to make some money back from last weekend at D23, so here it is. I'm selling both D23 Amazing Fantasy 1000 Spider-Man and the D23 Tron Exclusive variant. Asking $595 for all 3 comics shipped. These are going for a lot more on Ebay, but I'd prefer to not deal with their fees and BS, so offering here first. Pictures below. Both 1000 variants suffer from a minor spine tick. These were manhandled by non-comic employees so it's sadly not too surprising. These were limited to one per person and only available if you attended each of the respective panels. I will say the pictures make the tick look a lot worse than it actually looks in person. There's also a little wave to each which every copy had. That should be easily pressable. I saw a lot of bad Tron copies, but this one is in pretty good shape. Edit: Not sure why the message boards keep flipping some photos upside down. They keep doing it when I try to reupload.
