  1. Yeah what Tier was the book going to be? If it's Economy, you wont see it until 2023, and it's pointless to bug them.
  2. My biggest problem with MCS consignment is the type of books I sell often are ones no one would find under MCS's descriptions. I generally have to be specific in my Ebay description for the specific type buyers.
  3. I always use 1095 boxes without problems. I wrap slab in a good amount of bubblewrap, then sandwich it between two 11x14 cardboard inserts. Toss in some extra bubble wrapping or packing peanuts, and it comes out to pretty much exactly 2lbs (assuming standard modern comics). If I'm shipping across country, keeping under 2lbs can save me $4-5 on shipping.
  4. If you like spectacle and the energy of crowds then go once. If not, then no.
  5. Let's just ignore the fact that there's enough potential evidence for someone to create a class action lawsuit against two giant companies, but sure, let's blame socialism...
  6. Not sure what's the debate about. It's done by a comic company and can be slabbed. The only difference is it's about 3 comics thick.
  7. I know at one point my promoted listings were considered ads and Ad Block and UBlock were filtering them on browsers. Very possible this is the case.
  8. I hate to disappoint everyone, but these are not Mando's and Grogu's 1st comic app. This is: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Star-Wars-Mandalorian-Season-Graphic/dp/1804910473/
  9. I can tell you 3 years ago pretty much no one wanted Star Wars comics including 1st apps like 1977's SW #1. I'm pretty confident that pump and dumpers just saw an opportunity and pushed them as the next best thing.
  10. This is always why I redirect my packages to a Fedex store location for pickup versus a fake delivery.
  11. Yeah that's pretty much what I'm looking for, what specific issue of what comic started the current store exclusive variant trend. I know there are a few smattering of early 2000s examples, but I dont really consider one offs starters of the current trend per say. I'm pretty sure it was somewhere in 2014-2015.
  12. Was doing a little research today and this got me thinking, what comic started the whole current store exclusive thing? I know there were past exclusives like ASM666, but I don't really count those since those weren't all that unique. Was it Spider-Gwen #1?
  13. Dallas Comic Con 2004 Adam Hughes Cover. Also very rare and one of his best ever. Back features Batman and Harley Quinn and is signed by Dan Brereton. $250
  14. Dallas Comic Con 2003 Adam Hughes Cover featuring Sheena looking very high. Very rare. Only a few thousand people attended this convention and probably 99% of the programs eventually ended up in the trash. Back features Kit Fisto from Star Wars and is signed by Dave Dorman. $160

  22. Not surprised. A lot of their writers simply use it as a platform to pump their own stuff to sell on Ebay as well.
