  1. what I have I generally remember, but speakin of 1000's of books, if you know what you like IMO more is always better for the right price....etc If i speculate on some comics then it is hard to remember and I write it down, or if there is a particular issue say of Adam Hughes or any other artist that I am trying to familiarize myself with I write it down as well As far as a wishlist, I pretty much remember by the cover or knowledge of first appearances from the boards, ebay sells, or other factors. I can understand if the LCS thinks it is rude to check ebay on my phone to compare prices, so I try to do that at home, otherwise haggling at the LCS, flea market etc can be a pain
  2. I'm curious if the "like" button is going to give off notifications to other board members, I want to "like" stuff, but too many notifications at one time may annoy.... I like to like stuff haha if only I was so popular to be annoyed myself My apoligies in advance to those whom suffer my kindness wrath EDIT: on second thought I shall declare my sarcasm because I don't know if it was deteced, I sense that people are going to get the "ignore" button from people; liking and notifications--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  3. There are spine ticks that show up in the scans on the back cover but I can not see them on the front is why I'm curious for a grade estimate..... Surely if you go to full view then the scans are good enough
  4. This is Wolverine The Best There Is #1, may be the only Dell Otto that I have, but also the only one that I like enough that I can afford.... I don't believe there is anything that doesn't show up in scans....
  5. Thanks for the post It's odd that the new boards don't show who you replied to unless you quote somebody Just now saw this, anyway, THANKS
  6. Back from CGC thread seems to go on forever thanks to Greggy (no offense) and whoever quoted that post (no offense) and I don't know if that has to do with how many posts per page etc No offense but I'm not going to scroll for 2 minutes just to see someone post a comment, idk, that was a big submission and may be an outlier anyways but still. I am sure that there is a way to go to the last posted comment, but all I know so far is that clicking the last circle usually brings you to the last page. The last posted is usually on the last page, but if I have to scroll a long ways, it's a bit of a let down? to just see one last comment, sigh
  7. A fair amount of demand but not as rare as a TOS 39 or any other SA type book... OOOHHHH SNAP that's a (german?) edition, I don't know about the demand for foreign issues, perhaps the originals will continue to grow in value with the foriegn editions to sturdy the "now" market (at the bottom) (or vice versa idk)
  8. it has a blunted top left corner, I was thinking a 9.0, there is a scruff that breaks some color not in the scans... it is so small buy I had to look close in light, looks kinda like a spine tick, but the rest of the book looks good
  9. Just found out that if you click on the scans of the xmen 266, it gives you the option to see it full size in a new tab, the scans don't look to bad that way......
  10. The 2 in the submission were an ASM 129 and a FF 49, so I assume there different sizes but if the bigger case is for the bigger book then how is it different than the smaller book with the smaller case; therefore, making the plastic not touch
  11. and I don't know the reason for the difference in the cases.....2 books in the submission both signature series one silver age in a thin case and a bronze age in a thick case, and I have moderns in the thin case as well, so idk
  12. I went and looked at a few from the previous batch and I had a ASM 129 that was in the new new thick case, don't know why I had never noticed it that's a bigger size difference in person compared to the picture. I appreciate you pointing it out to me @I like pie If it is worth mentioning, the thin case is what I got back last time and had noticed the newton rings....(not the case size) and wondered what's up, now I know Also if it is worth mentioning the thin cases (now that I notice the size) no longer show newton rings, after being in a short box in a closet, maybe the thinner case makes them more susceptible to outside forces: like weather, climate, or temperature......(??)
  13. is there a type of book that calls for a thinner case? I just checked an X-force 11 with an ASM 134 didn't see a difference.... the reason I ask is I have an ASM 129 coming in a month or 2 and don't want any problems. @I like pie
  14. New New "thinner" slab? when did they start that? I just got some back a couple of weeks ago, I didn't notice that it was any thinner...
  15. What I think is cool, and probably already mentioned, if a new reply comes to the page your on it will inform you. This way you don't have to back out to see that someone posted again. I don't think that the old boards did this...
  16. I'm assuming all you VIP's out there have checked your email from the Campbell webstie, stating that now discount codes will go out earlier from now on and that you probably won't be allowed to apply the discount code to your purchase after your purchase (if you forget to apply it or don't get the email due to it being in your spam) due to their "system" and staff. They do apologize to all who had to wait so long for their Gamora issues.
  17. I said I liked the red arrow circle, that's all I've ever said, I hope this clarifies I don't know why everyone read my post differently, if I was confusing I'm sorry. I said, in the first place, that I like it on the bottom right hand corner rather than anywhere else.
  18. Rereading my original post, I was convoluted, sorry for making it complicated, hopefully my one sentence explanation is better:)
  19. Ya that's what I was saying it's on the bottom right rather than left which I like better due to the mouse I use, it's a small thing but I'm thankful for it
