A positive benefit that I can see is maybe people will start "reading" the comics instead of just buying to slab...... As far as comic con's would you like to spend another $5 added onto minor key's priced to sell to cover cost's of a booth. As far as selling to a LCS would the sticker be from a reputable etc to garner any extra mullah

@cortown71 well for some odd reason I put in my credit card and went down to the coupon space and it wouldn't let me enter the code, I mean I couldn't even insert the cursor. IDK though, it was the first time that I ever tried to use a coupon. It did say, right above where you would enter cursor, that you had to use paypal or paypal credit. Like I said this was my first go at this. I bought an $85 item free shipping and thought I'd save $10, but idk

I didn't know that you had to use PayPal CREDIT in order to use it...... oh well it wouldn't let me type it in....

also I don't see it being any different than a pre-screen......a raw is a raw and grade can change over time, plus there wouldn't be much differnce price wise in getting it graded (presumably) idk

I wouldn't use it either, if I'm going to go to all the trouble to pay shipping etc., I want something a little more permanent than a sticker......

PM dscott he's going to be a CGC facilitator there, I would ask if you can drop it off with him. I am doing the same for other artist's. But dscott should know and if it IS possible probably give you pricing too.

I do know there are facillitators you can contact that might have some idea, but I don't know exactly who, usually he announces via instagram and facebook. I haven't heard anything yet sooo hopefully it isn't too last minute for you to mail in your stuff. Like I said maybe try dscott (a facilitator) and give him a pm....

They won't put it in the slab, at most they may return it to you but I don't think even that....

I've seen a few that look good price wise, but because I can see that it is the defective case I've avoided them..... If you buy a defective case at a good price, will CGC still reholder for free?....even though your not technically the one who sent it in for grading...? If so I'm sure flippers will even out the market.......idk

Definitely a reader but I'll read it good fun ie. I went back and got it...

I own Conan 23 that I got from HPB, but my LCS has a $30 number 1!! it looks to be in 3.0 to 4.0 shape with deep tan pages.... Definitely a reader but I am so tempted.... what do you think should I bite the bullet? A con is coming up and I'm scrimping and saving everywhere I can is why I ask....

what I have I generally remember, but speakin of 1000's of books, if you know what you like IMO more is always better for the right price....etc If i speculate on some comics then it is hard to remember and I write it down, or if there is a particular issue say of Adam Hughes or any other artist that I am trying to familiarize myself with I write it down as well As far as a wishlist, I pretty much remember by the cover or knowledge of first appearances from the boards, ebay sells, or other factors. I can understand if the LCS thinks it is rude to check ebay on my phone to compare prices, so I try to do that at home, otherwise haggling at the LCS, flea market etc can be a pain

I'm curious if the "like" button is going to give off notifications to other board members, I want to "like" stuff, but too many notifications at one time may annoy.... There are spine ticks that show up in the scans on the back cover but I can not see them on the front is why I'm curious for a grade estimate..... Surely if you go to full view then the scans are good enough

Are the scans just that horrible? idk no estimates?
