  1. hahahaha that made me laugh a hearty chuckle
  2. Laugh if you want, but Wolverine Vol 1 with wolverine vs Cyber was a good read as a kid as far as action and trash talk. I'm sure there are ton's better, but I've discussed this recently so it's on my mind. Evidently Cyber was trying to get dna, but that's beside the point or of none effect. Cyber seemed a formidable foe, and I enjoyed it, no idea if it holds up today compared to the 1990's
  3. I'm thinkng about trading this Cap 100 for a nice RAW New Mutants 98.......any thoughts? if I do my apologies to anyone who was wanting to see this Cap 100 grade. I really do appreciate what this forum brings out, and in this case it may serve me better to trade
  4. I guess we found out who got the perfect score first after the 11th, ha
  5. @Kevin Boyd Earlier in this thread you mentioned the list of comic artists, and it was mentioned that the "regulars" would be coming too. So in short will Neal Adams be at Fan Expo Dallas 2017? or will there be an updated list of regular's? If the list that you mentioned a while back is the completed list you can say that too, just wanted clarification
  6. @RockMyAmadeus on those Zorro #3's with Lady Rawhide by hughes: I notice there are like two different comics with the same cover online? One that says special edition Lady Rawhide 1 and the one like yours that is Zorro 3, is that the original cover? both are topps comics etc. so I didn't know if it mattered which one I got? they have the Special edition at my LCS for like $6 but it's not 9.8. I didn't know if it was the same comic or if there was a difference is all. LCS has the Lady Rawhide 1 with the same cover as the Zorro 3 etc. Just wondering
  7. Thanks I appreciate the honest feedback. ! Awesome !
  8. I understand the Fan Exp Dallas website should update with artist signature prices when their sure of them. I thought that I'd ask if you knew, since I heard you mentioned Kubert's prices. At least, can you tell me if the FE website will tell whether some of the first couple of sigs of artist's and which artist's will be free when they update? Idk, seems like last year with Joe Mad....I found out at the show and that was fun, but I'm excited so I thought I'd ask
  9. @Kevin Boyd I noticed somewhere that you said that some artists, like Adam Kubert, would be signing some comics like the fist couple of them etc. for free? and to add CGC was 10$-15$ plus the CGC fees? My point in asking is the following Anyway is there any way to find out who else would sign a couple of things for free? like Jae Lee and getting him to sign a small statue? Just curious because I wouldn't know who to ask when I get there, and asking you may save me from standing in line for nothing...
  10. Patience paid off good to hear!! Good lookin' book
  11. yahoo !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sounds like fun! and a lot of time and effort
  12. It's definitely for the personal collection at the moment, I'm debating getting it signed as it is a low to mid grade copy. But that too is basically for my personal collection in the future though who knows It was basically a impulse purchase supporting LCS, so I don't mind getting it slabbed to test the LCS grading etc. plus the only other SA that I had was lower grade FF 48, 49 ,50 so I'm happy with the purchase.
  13. Interesting but no, I could see it happening though I've often looked on ebay and found an item that the seller and origin address is near by. I'm in Dallas. I have never bought, I don't think, from MycomicshoP and I think there in Arlington near by. But from someone you somehow know personally indirectly that is rare.....
  14. Anybody know how rare a Incredible Hulk 162 first Wendigo double cover is? Generally curious buuuut: There is no real way to know, no print run of it etc. But I think in general we would all really like to know "how rare are double covers of anything".......in case we stumble across any double covers etc.
  15. I pulled it out to look at it and I think that your right because some of the bends on the back cover look mushed if that makes sense. Like in the scan the back cover looks as though if you pulled it off the scanner that back cover would "bend", but it doesn't it lies flat with no inclanation of bending over, plus where the bend is there is little specks of break in color. As if there was a bend and it had been pressed to lie flat, sigh, just didn't want to take time to take pics to keep away further damage..... This will be going in for grading with no press, so thanks to all for there advice and info I'll post when I get it back......
  16. Appreciate the honesty, thought the press would clear up the back but I can save some money on pressing then... If it has already been pressed then I'm up a creek. ha. I way overpayed if it is a 4.5 and 4.0 is breaking my heart
  17. I would love to know how fast the CCS is going I believe my "book" () went there end December at least early January..... it's been about 2 months, sounds about right, hoping for a quick turn around at CGC
  18. That last panel (bottom right) is classic Indiana Jones narrative too. I likes it I like's it a lot
