    Those insipid "Museum" comics, which were limited to 1-copy per edition. Nothing could be harder to find than a series of comics with only one existing copy each - I win, shut down the thread!!

    Come on, there has to be some more CGC 9.6-9.8 newsstand copies, not just the ultra-common Whitman/Direct versions. I would love to see a 9.9 of this, as that would be a true rarity.

    But the first one was rejected (and rightly so) because a) Spidey was not the central figure and b) it did not give us a face-shot of the new villain. It would have worked great as a splash page in the book though.

    Personally, I would like to see a CGC 9.9 Newsstand Edition, but I doubt one exists as those 9.9's are likely straight from Whitman multi-packs.

    Nice, you don't often see higher-graded newsstand copies, especially as Whitman mass-produced 3-packs of the Diamond issues, which makes the populations even more skewed.

    I never said I got it for my CI id - I stopped using that and asked Arch to close it because I was ticked at this place in general. Do you really not remember the JC custom title fiasco? My custom title tells the tale if you forgot.
