    Approved Comics #6 I would give it a 1.8 with very good eye appeal for the grade. both staples are popped on front cover but one is hanging on to the back by a hair. There is some tanning on the edges of the cover. It is a Matt Baker cover though and it looks pretty nice. $90.

    Quick question for other ASM collectors.. What is the second most important Spidey key issue? At first I was thinking "of course it has to be ASM #1", but then I also thought that doesn't have a significant first appearance like 2,3, and 14. Is it even close, or obviously #1 and I am just overthinking (or under) the whole thing. Just wanted some other informed opinions. Thanks

    Any from that run, not just the 1998 issues. Thanks for asking. I loved the Matsuda covers and thought they were a great blend of his style while still getting the spirit of the characters.

    Here is my copy. It’s low grade but I’m proud to have it. I do like comics with date stamps as I think it calls back to the beginnings of the hobby. This book though is the only on I have ever had where the purple date stamp matches the purple in the cover! Just makes it really neat. IMHO

    Batman 14 Qualified it has a married detached centerfold. Cover is detached and has upper and lower splits. Interiors are pretty nice. First Penguin cover in Batman title. With Penguins being in the next Batman film there is some chance for appreciation. A similar graded copy with less eye appeal sold on eBay for 317, so let’s price this one at $285 Reduced to SOLD

    Smash Comics 49 some rust migration and the staple is popped from front cover but still hanging on in the back. Quite a few small tears and I think a press could easily flatten the interiors a lot. It is low grade but priced accordingly SOLD

    Human Torch #9 CGC 4.0 Cr/OW back cover has dust shadow, rust migration and a moisture stain but at least it’s the back cover. Very little sales data recently. $1500 Lowered to $1450 Removed from sale. I will hold on to this one.
