  1. Sharon can I get one Olaf, 2 Harry Potter red, and one Ariel for my little princesses? This is really sweet of you. All in size medium. Thanks
  2. I just got a set of books that I purchased from Ryan. The packaging was bulletproof! Great communication and the books were accurately graded. I could not have asked for a better experience! Buy with confidence from Ryan.
  3. not my copy, but I always liked this one because the heroic folks were doing something heroic that the average joe could do as well to contribute.
  4. I would go with Ra's as well but for someone who has not been mentioned I always thought the Ventriloquist was really creepy and cold have been made into a great movie. It combined the gangster part of Batman stories that I always seemed to like and the sort of a shock/horror slant with the dummy. If done poorly it can also be one of the worst most eye rolling of villains. I also thought about Wrath from Batman Special in the 80's. I really thought that was such a cool story and I don't think that anyone ever used that villain again.
  5. This is the best copy I have ever seen of this book. It seems to often have interior cover tanning which dulls the outer part of the cover and this has none of that. Just a spectacular copy! This is a great example of "buy the book and not the grade". Congratulations.
  6. I would have some interest in the coverless books if you were to list them. Thanks.
  7. I got this off of eBay years ago and was really pleased with the piece. Granted I have a ton of Buffy artwork but I think this is as good as if not better than a lot of the art used for the covers on the series. I have thought about having it inked bust I like the pencils and there would be a lot of black.
  8. My 51 is not nearly as nice as @mwotka, and I would gladly trade if he/she would like. But the one advantage to having a a cover less incomplete book is I get to still look inside at the cool parts and this one is really cool!
  9. I was just about to ask the same question. Isn't it really pages 2 and 3 of Detective Comics? I promise you if it was in my collection that is the way I would describe it to my envious friends.
  10. Probably a More Fun 54 somewhere in the 3.0-4.5 range. It has actually been much harder to find than the 52 or 53.
  11. Just bought a couple of books from Dan. They were as described. He is a quality grader. They were shipped securely and promptly. He is super nice on communications, and he even sent free comics. What more could you want? Quality seller. A+
  12. Pretty sure somewhere I have two signed Neal Adams comics that he went and sold on the Home Shopping Network. and maybe even a Stan Lee, something or other that my Grandmother got for me. The idea that she cared about me enough to really try and get something that I would like is priceless. The comics....not so much.
  13. Both of my kids like comics but they (like others have stated) are being published as GN with a price of 14.99 and up. I will get them for my kids occasionally but I do think that comics have a lot more competition now than they did in the 40-70's for kids dollars. It does make me sad a bit. I don't think the succes of the movies has created new readers, I think comics are now being used as a trial ground for movie ideas because it is cheaper and can give studios an idea of what might work. It is certainly not a sure thing (i.e, Bloodshot) but it is a tool. How cheap do you think they would really need to get comics printed to get to the point where kids would invest in them. Invest time, and their earned money, or where parents just buy them a copy "because". I think the price point might have to be $1.50 or less. Just my thoughts. Interesting topic.
  14. Feature Presentations #5. PCH Book has a lot of eye appeal for the 1.8 grade. Bottom staple is rusty and popped and there is some paper loss to the cover, mostly in the back and at the bottom edge of the front. Priced below other copies that look worse on Ebay. $67.
  15. Romance Lot. Both books are Complete. They are both in the Good to VG range. The My Romantic Adventures, maybe a bit better and moving up to the Fine category. The Romances of the West #2: What can I say about this book. Photo cover, western, Non-Baker romance art, What can I say? This book could not have more going for it. Sure to be the next hot book and join the MCU films......or maybe not. Take the pair for $10!!
